There was a segment where PW talks about the technique of Hitchcock and his attempts to emulate it . Unfortunately the translating site that I used ( Babelfish ) made a real meal of this . From what I could decipher it seemed as though he was talking about the dolly zoom . But I'd always been under the impression that Steven Spielberg had invented this in Jaws , for the shot of Roy Scheider on the beach . Still I'm probably wrong .
