Since the post on Copy Protection has been "Locked
Out" whatever that means. Hopefully it is not a code
word for censorship. The Supreme Court decides what is
crimminal activity not DVD companys. The Supreme Court
ruled many years ago that to make copys for your private
use is LEGAL and there is no way that the DVD companys can
make it ILLEGAL no matter how much they comlain. Code words
like "scab" and "piracy" are used to make something seem
more dangerous and horrible than it really is. I have supported the Adult industry over the last 30 to the tune
of probable over $10,000 so I don't want to hear anything
about me stealing anything. I am a strong supporter of arresting those who make hundreds or even sell 1 copy to a friend but personal use is another thing entirely and I have
the law to back me up.

If you already own a DVD why do you need to further copy it?

But on that note, I am very dead set against piracy. As a performer it hurts me where I feel it the most. In my pocket book. When video companies don't make money they ultimately start cutting my rates in order to make ends meet.

Exactly what part of this post made prior to locking the previous thread was not clear to you? This is not a topic that is welcome at ADT. If you want to call it censorship, fine. If you want to have this discussion, go have it on R.A.M.E.
