Just to help me understand the point of this thread, can you please name ONE instance where a DVD is better than its Blu-ray counterpart? Even when you're comparing a special edition DVD to a bare-bones BD, the latter still comes out on top.
The Blu-Ray of Pirates 2 includes the same special features found on the 4 disc dvd set. I bought the dvd at first due to the delay in the Blu-ray release and when I finally got the Blu-ray, the difference in picture quality was like night and day. The night scenes have some grain, which is common on High Def, but other than the grain at night the picture that the Blu-Ray disc provides is phenomenal. I would say go for the Blu-Ray!
