Hmmmm. Probably 3 or 4 times a week I go to the site to see whats on the horizon, and now the site is changed. Jewel, at least let us see whats about to be released so we can plan to rent or buy.
Hmmmm. Must be a browser favorite link problem on my end. I keep getting the join membership loop. Bad operator error, i guess, on my part. Thanks for the reply
If you go to www.platinumxpictures.com, you will see our next 8 releases. After you exit the site, you can close the window for www.clubpxp.com, our member's site. Enjoy, Brandon
Is the only way to browse the PXP catalog is to first become a paying member? Isn't this "unfriendly" to potential consumers who might want to view boxcovers? I don't know of any other studio that does this but I'm not an expert on studio websites.
I'm not questioning the PXP business plan but couple this with the video quality issue (see thread in Tech Talk), is PXP not afraid of alienating their customer base?
What makes you think you can't view the boxcovers in the free section? I'm in the super-friendly free section right now looking at the next ten releases.
1. Disable your pop-up blocker if you have one. 2. Go into the "Corporate" site. The one on the right. 3. Look for "New Releases" link in the masthead. 4. Scroll down to the bottom right, a little link called "full archive."
I might just make a tiny suggestion that you make that link to the corporate site (which freakin kicks ass!) NOT a pop-up link. Statistics clearly show that a growing number of surfers use pop-up stoppers.
I went to your site to do some research before Jewel came on my show last night and never saw your corporate site because I, of course, have a pop-up stopper.
I thought you had lost your mind and ditched your great sales site for a pure pay site! lol
Having BOTH sites rocks - but, I suspect you are going to lose some sales if you leave that as a pop up. WAY too many people (like me) will never know it was there.
By the way - for everyone else:
The PXP pay site actually sounds REALY, REALLY worth joining. They are putting a full DVD on there every single day (a new one every day). Talk about getting your monies worth...
The PXP corporate site is a model (I also love the DVSX.com site) for what a sales/marketing site should be. The only thing I wish was added to the PXP site where trailers - if they had that... oh, my god....
