I play DVDs on my PC occasionally. Not all my DVDs are playable however even though I have Windows Media Player, DVX player, and RealOne Player installed. I have special trouble with Platinum X titles. I'm running XP. Any advice please?

But
try a proper DVD Software)
Try these :

PowerDVD
WinDVD

You might make sure that the firmware on your DVD drive is up-to-date.

they are not free, but the trials are
do a search on google.com for "Power DVD" and "Win DVD"

Saki means, the chip on the DVD drive its self, they have whats called "firmware" its basically up dating your version of windows, but for a drive

Firmware: Computer programming instructions that are stored in a read-only memory unit rather than being implemented through software.

Your DVD drive has a chip with programming on it. Most manufacturers update this software from time to time. If you go to the website of the manufacturer of your DVD drive, you might find that there is an upgraded version of that programming. You can download the update to your PC and load it to the DVD drive. Installation instructions should be on the website with the firmware.
