| WhiteBOY Member 305 Posts 11/06 | I live in Europe, and attended my first convention earlier this year, at the Venus in Berlin. I took some pictures with some of the cool stars (with shaky knees, dry mouth and very high frequency on the heartbeats). As a watcher of movies, I don't really reflect on how they are in real life, or towards the fans. I was very shy and reserved, not an obnoxious sexist pig. And I can understand that some of the talent get's sick and tired of all crazy male. However, and as a contrast, I attended a Toto concert this year, and had a backstage pass. Met the guys after the show, and after 30 years in the biz, they took real good time for all the fans, talked and chatted and wanted us to hang out. Such great guys, and u should think they were tired. Now, back at the convention, I met at least three - 3 - girls that were rude, unpleasant to be around and one of them even harrassed my friend for being a "sick pig", and he have not done anyone anything bad in his whole life! He is mr. nice guy himself. He blushed and was very ashamed of himself and the situation, as he assumed that everyone would think that he had done anything mean to her... This is a regular, normal guy, an average joe, but not a Khan Tushion! Did he look at her, did she react to his look? I don't know, but he had very low self-esteem when the night was over. So he is sensitive, but that's just his nature and previlige to be. It almost seemed that some of these beauties know they are hot and boost their egos by putting other people down. Now I wanna ask some of You who have attended conventions in the US, how are things over there? Are MOST OF the female talent happy to meet their fans, or do they despise and hate them/you....being really bitchy?
