I joined 666 Bukakke which bills through Centrobill. This biller also bills for German Goo Girls and Stiffia.
Within a few hours of joining 666 Bukakke I tried to cancel my membership to prevent recurring billing. There is an online form which asks for the same sort of information that all the other billers require. I submitted that form and instead of getting a confirmation of cancellation the screen was updated to say that I was now waiting for cancellation by a customer service rep. Two days later had an email asking if I’d consider staying if they sweetened the deal. I replied in the negative (though it is obvious now that these are automated emails). Daily checks on my status still indicated that I was waiting for the membership to be cancelled. I sent several emails, all which generated the automated replies. I checked my status again and it had gone from waiting for cancellation to active again. I tried cancelling that way again and only got the automated email again.
I’ve sent on average two emails per day with nothing other than these automated responses.
I just tried calling them and you are required to say your name, email address, first six and last four digits of your credit card into a recording to ensure better customer service. You hear the tone to start the recording and then maybe two seconds later the recording ends. I waited to see what would happen and within a minute the call was terminated at their end.
I really wanted to join GGG but there is no way I’d ever consider it with Centrobill as the biller.
Does anyone have any insight as to how to cancel a membership through Centrobill.
