It's funny (or not funny, but interesting I guess) that the examples of women you gave are what you would call "plus size". I agree with you that women of their body type/size are lacking in porn. But what's interesting is that they are not plus size. Take Siri; with a height of 5'9" and a reported weight of 154 lbs, her BMI comes out at 22.7 which is right in the middle of the 'normal' range (18.5-24.9). Lexxxi Lockhart did gain weight throughout her career, but earlier on she was 5' and 114 lbs, which puts her at a BIM of 22.3. Again, normal. Felicia Clover I think you have fairly categorized as plus size but not BBW. Anyway, my point here is not necessarily to criticize you; just to point out that we are so used to seeing thin women in porn (and in media in general) portrayed as the norm that when we see a 'normal' sized woman, we think she is plus-size. I think this post is quite a propos because it best exemplifies the discrepancy between reality and fantasy. The fact that normal looking women are even talked about as being plus size tells you that we really need to re-evaluate our standards when it comes to normal looking women. Don't get me wrong Dragon, I like both teens and petite girls. What I object to is the lack of variety in the current US porn world. Let's look at the nominees for best new starlet for example. XBiz: 15names. 11 are between 19 and 21 as of today. 10 are listed as an A or B cup (one is an AA). 9 are 5'4" or shorter. 2 of the 5 "busty girls" may in fact have already retired. AVN: 14 names, of which 9 are also on the XBiz list. Of the remaining 5, four are A or B cups and the one "C cup" is Piper Perri who could hardly be called busty. The trend even in a single year is noticeable, let's compare AVN 2016 vs AVN 2017. 2016: 1 A Cup, 8 B Cups, 2 C Cups, 3 D Cups and a F Cup. 2017: 5 A Cups, 6 B Cups, 1 C Cup, 2 D's.
