In previous generations, controversial exhibitionist-type performances by “artists” such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Shakira and others (more recently Katy Perry, Ke$ha and Lady Gaga), would disgust and outrage the masses while nowadays these women are revered as being empowering and inspirational. Often mistaken as talented, and even more incorrectly labelled as brilliant (in the case of Lady Gaga), it is most probable that these women would never be wildly successful superstars without their explicit sex appeal. To celebrate the raw and raunchy sexuality of today’s most popular women in music; I suggest a series to represent them XXX-style. Without too much thought, I’ve come up with the title Sluts of Pop as I hope that there is more of a demand to satirize the sexiest singers of our millennium. What do you guys think? Does it sound like a good idea and something that Elegant might possibly do? Please give me some feedback with additional/alternative suggestions or comments (negative or positive) on the ones I've already made. I want this bad!
