The goal of any porn shoot, be it on the vanilla end or out in the far reaches of kink, should be to capture human beings enjoying themselves doing something that is truly an extraordinary part of being human. Or at the very least, the presentation and performance should be carried out in such a way where the suspension of disbelief is at least a realistic possibility for the viewer.
I have seen several scenes where I was not only moved to have a wank, but also moved in some emotional sense as well. I almost expect it sometimes. I think I'm most amazed by true submissives who manage to not only feel their position, but express it THROUGH the camera.
