Growin up in the seventies I first lusted over Swedish Erotica and now I lust for women half my age like Sasha Grey. I am curious to hear if anybody else out there has collected as much porn as myself over a lifetime. 1500 mags/1000 videos/1500 dvd. I have almost bought every video on dvd as well. I think that there's another aspect to porn as a hobby, that is the hunt. I like nothing more than scouring through websites, trailers, reviews, model agencies and forums to find a new hot girl. Its some what cheaper that buying everything and I can get away with doing most of my research whilst at work, I am somewhat choosy and may only come up with five or six new girls a year, so things don't get that expensive for me. I used to keep a list of them in a spreadsheet, but I've been lazy the last few years. I have been buying fewer porn DVDs in the last year or so than in the two prior years. I also have several hundred gigs of website porn on my hard drive. I can also relate to bobcat about enjoying the "hunt" part of the process. I still enjoy spending time in the bricks and mortar stores browsing for an hour or so and selecting a few rentals. The clerks find this a bit strange, but don't mind and say that there are others who take their time browsing like I do. The "hunt" also extends to online porn, as bobcat mentioned. There is something about the celebrity nipple that I find intoxicating, even to this day. While I no longer buy magazines and have long since thrown away whatever I used to have, I still have a list of web-sites I check daily/weekly and love adult literary erotica, especially when it centers around my particular perversions. Long ago, I dumped whatever Beta and VHS porn I had (that was a GREAT day for my trashman as I watched him load boxes into the front cab!) and now only have porn on DVD. My last count is 1,276 titles and growing (I do keep spreadsheets). So here is my deal - I have spent a considerable amount of time recovering from spinal and neck surgeries over the past five years. This leaves me with considerable down time and porn has become one of my hobbies. However, even if I were perfectly healthy, I'm sure porn would be something I am involved with - whether it is because of genetics, perversions, freudian issues, etc., porn is my hobby. And given the porn I accidently discovered in my grandfathers retirement condo twenty-five years ago, it would appear that it will remain a hobby until I kick the bucket. [Link]

Now I have over 1000 adult dvds in my collection I just like colleting scenes of my favorite stars and of course movies that are unique.I used to hide them in plasic containers so my mom wouldent find them then last week I put them all on the only shelf in my room so everyone can see them.I just turned 24 last sunday so I dont care anymore I love my porn. I do have a bunch now (maybe 200 - 300 titles) that I guess I'll list and see what I can get. The trick is motivating myself to just do it. I used to be able to get .25 for each magazines and $1.00 for some glossies. I even got $5.00 for a used "CUM" glossy in mint condition. The next week I would see my trade-in in a 3 for $6.00 sealed pack. Good luck trying to trade today.... I forget what I used to get for VHS but I traded alot of them as well. They knew me all to well back in the day. Life was good living alone in those days. It seemed better to recycle than to be a collector in my situation. When I got marred I traded in a bunch of stuff and bought the wife a vibrator w/ the credit. I told her all about it. I still hide today's DVDs but she knows there around somewhere, she just not into it. As long as I get worked up w/ porn then take it out on her she loves it. It keeps things fresh. smg4ever - I'd suggest working on a way to let your fiancée know that "a porn collection" exists. Women hate being lied to more than anything. Of course, I don't know your or your girl but if you can come to an agreement about it you will do much better. Bring it up during foreplay or while having sex with her. The place I went was in Berlin on Rt. 73. there are 2 of them in the same area. I really doubt anyone will trade anything these days, with such a glut of porn around. Especially being in a marriage and never having "safe" viewings can possibly make it easy to start viewing on nights etc. [Link]

You're absolutely right about the hunt for new girls and new scenes by your favourite girls. I spend most of my day trawling the internet looking for new titles to acquire and searching out the hot new thing. I too am picky with the last hot girl I found being Mia Lina. I have just acquired my 429th DVD which I am adding to my list right now. I keep a database of all the DVDs and scenes - who is in it, a detailed description of what happens in it including the sex acts performed and when last watched etc etc. I only have around 300GB which I actually thought was getting out of control but judging by others on here I have a way to go yet! There are just too many companies/websites etc and its really hard to keep up to date of everything! [Link]
