So it occured to me a while back. Pornography, unlike prostitution, is legal. The difference, it seems, is the camera. Why aren't there any companies that specialize in producing personalized amateur videos where fans can hire their favorite porn stars to have sex with them on tape? I would assume this would be perfectly legal right? And when you think about it, if the going rate for anal sex is say $600, I bet there would be a lot of fans who would pay $1000 for a long scene with their favorite porn star, professionally filmed and edited. Why doesn't anything like this exist? It seems like a natural money-maker.

I see a small problem, which is that the reason porn is not prostitution is because the money is not being paid for the sexual gratification of either participant. It is being paid to stage a sex act for the gratification of some third-party viewers. This gives it at least a fig leaf's protection of artistic license.

Your scenario would fall afoul of this distinction because the movie would simply be a record of "you" paying for sex, which would be prostitution.

I've heard it can be negotiated, but usually you have bring your own camera and it's an add-on to an escort session.

Why would the porn star get all these other people involved? People = witnesses + buisness costs.
As for a specific in your post, I think they will charge more for anal or other sex than they normally would for a scene.
When you add the costs of editing and the lighting/camera crew, I think you are looking at considerably more than $1K.

In a movie, a scene may cost $1K (more or less) for the participants, but there are the other people there who are also paid. There are all those costs you don't consider which is (hopefully) made back when the scene is released. You must guarentee that money to make it worthwhile for all those people instead of being a charity case.

A few performers with their own websites do scenes with their members and fans. Usually theres no money exchanged and the member/fan just has to sign the model release.

Actually it depends on where it is made as well. Other than Los Angeles, it would be technically and legally considered prostitution.

And give Hardware a prize -- he is absolutely correct.

In Freeman, the California Supreme Court held that "in order to constitute prostitution, the money or other consideration must be paid for the purpose of sexual arousal or gratification," 250 Cal.Rptr., at 600. Applying this principle, the court characterized the payments made to the performers as "acting fees" and held that "there is no evidence that [Freeman] paid the acting fees for the purposes of sexual arousal or gratification, his own or the actor." Id. Thus, the court held that Freeman "did not engage in either the requisite conduct nor did he have the requisite [intent] or purpose to establish procurement for purposes of prostitution."

So from a legal standpoint, probably not a great idea.

Of course there is that website, www.bethemask.com that has drawings among paysite members, but that is a little different from just paying a flat fee to be guaranteed to to do it. I don't even know how many of their scenes were actually filmed with amateur males, though.

There's actually a thread about bethemask being a scam. They're all pros those guys behind the mask. Nicole Brazzle claimed she was gonna start her own Fan Fuxxx serie but nothing so far.

Be the mask definitely uses pros, you can see it just from their website. Barrett Blade is in a couple of their videos, you can spot him by his tattoos.

Wish I saw this sooner, we just wrapped up a Direct a Porno contest with Madness Pictures. You don't get to have sex with them, but you do get to tell them what to do, with whom and how. I imagine that your most likely source for getting what you seek would be a contest or similar publicity campaign somewhere. I can't rightly see any company making a regular practice of such a thing, especially since fans aren't subject to regular HIV screening as performers are.

Shane's World's college series is about as close as it gets. They now get prospective party boys tested ahead of time, but anybody can get a handjob ...

Then there is, rather grimly, American Bukkake ... but to me just jerking off in some girl's face after standing in line for an hour with a bunch of hairy louts is not sex.

Probably the best answer is to get Brandon to audition you as a "mope," which means you can attend smaller bukkake-type gatherings, earn $150 or so, and maybe get a BJ or more. But then you no longer are just a fan, you are talent, and that's different.

I'm sure I'm not helping one bit!

i know that there is a japanese movie out there where one of their star girls has sex (and more!) with her fans. She reads out the fan mail before each scene. I can't remember her name but she's a real extreme performer and has been in loads of Japanese porno. There doesn't seem to be anything she won't do. I just can't remember her name!!!

What I don't get is how prostitution can be illegal. Aperson's body is legally recognised as their own property and as with any property you may seek to make profit from it, in the long run it's no different than renting an apartment (which reminds me that I'd like to live in Melissa Lauren's ass, lol.)

So how can prostitution be illegal ?

because it spreads disease, there's still a fucking barndoor of opportunity left open between prevention and testing that if you fuck a stranger a day you're killing or leaving barren a couple of people every year at worst. at best, you just give them rashes and sores. sex kills, always has.

Diseases are being spread even without prostitution and I bet that prostitutes, if they cherish their life, do use protection as well. Just because there is no exchange of money doesn't mean there is no exchange of germs.

bullshit. most people don't fuck a hundred people in their lifetime. go take a look at your average street-hooker not fancy escort--you think they give a fuck about your safety or theirs? you think they've got MGH-quality testing? you think they go to medical facilities for anything other than whatever needles they can find in the mid-20-gauges? i'm sure more upscale escort-type stuff is a different ballgame but the vast majority of people hooking are doing it fast-food-style and you're in the wrong time-frame with a burst-condom you kill your wife. sexually-enlightened, huh? get drugs and transience outta the picture and it might not be that way, but you probably couldn't afford it.

What I can and cannot afford is not the issue here, neither is the risk of spreading diseases (since you can still catch diseases through other means i.e. cigarettes and alcohol which are both legal and universally known to provoke fatal diseases, and I'm not even gonna go into the risks you take by just living near to a nuclear power plant).

What were talking about here is the legality of prostitution or had you lost sight of that?

I agree there is less risk with an Escort but isn't that still prostitution ? Sure Escort companies may hide under all that "Were just providing company to people, nothing more" bullcrap but it's no big secret to anyone what they are all about. Yet you don't see them get busted by the cops. Why is that ? Simply because they are part of a company that pays taxes.

As for your basic street hooker if she doesn't have a condomn well at least it should be the responsability of the customer to bring is own, these things are practically free so noone as any excuse for not having any.

As I have said in my first post in this topic, each person's body is his own property and so legaly you can use your body to your own profit. There are countries wher a woman can fill in her inland revenue form or any other official document and write in the occupation box "prostitute" because that right is guaranteed by her country's constitution. What would be illegal in those same countries would be for another person to benefit from the prostitutes revenue i.e. pimps, what is also illegal is street hooking because that would be construed as setting up a commercial service in a public place, it would be the same as a salesman coming out of his shop and ushering people on the sidewalk to come into his shop.

So there is still nothing valid to explain as to why prostitution is illegal in the U.S.

dude, it's hardly about some liberalism-soaked concept of "my body". it's about the fact that doing hundreds of people a year with say, 2-5% condom breakage and the periods the tests aren't going to cover even if you get them allow you to become a fucking human petri-dish of bad stuff. look at porn-testing galore, but people shrug off std's that you certainly shouldn't consider "acceptable". ultimately, if you're banging out the number of clients, you're probably transmitting diseases over the years no matter how dilligent you are-"sex work" generally doesn't mean adt-posting-pornstar-escort with a brain and heart o' gold. i don't think anyone has the right to get other people sick or try to host the next mutation of a tried-n-true pathogen. it's a shitload of effort to clean up a profession to the point where it'll still end up with a leaky safety-net so people don't have to jerk off or make their own friends.

Nope, I haven't, but that doesn't mean I don't know about them and what they do.

So if the point of making prostitution illegal is because of the risk of spreading disease then there are many other things that should be illegal on the very same grounds : tobacco, nuclear power, fossil fuels, and with time I could come up with a few others. So is anyone else here seeing a double standard ? I know the law will never be perfect but this is one of the biggest hypocrises going.

So if Ed Powers, Max Hardcore, or Jules Jordan hires a woman to have sex with in a scene it's just porn. But if Joe Shmoe does the same, it's prostitution? No logic there.

Guys,
I'm afraid we are getting a little off topic here. However the post above makes a good point. There are plenty of directors who also appear in their own scenes. I assume the do this by essentially paying themselves for their appearance correct? The issue therefore, is why there isn't a company that allows a person to make their own porn film. I'm not talking about prostitution, I'm talking about having amateur guys make a movie in which they appear with their favorite porn star. The movies could be marketed over a special website, etc. and I think there would be a (limited) market for them. OK, so I certainly underestimated the cost. But even at the range of $5,000 to $10,000 or so per scene, I certainly think that there would be a certain market of people who wanted to live their fantasy for once in their life. In terms of STD's, I assume it would be totally possible to have these amateur people get double or triple aids tested before the scene, and in terms of other STDs, isn't the porn industry pretty full of those already?

Why aren't their any companies that do this? Something like Youdirect.com.

The guy off the street doesn't have a lighting and camera crew. Laws do not have to be logical, if they are enforced you need to be aware of the triggering conditions.

Also, the whole thread is wrong. There is no 'allow' on the part of porn companies. They are not the ones with the choise.

The amount it would cost would be much more than an escort and good lawyer be.
No porn star found it to be worth the trouble to go through all this - they are the ones that would find it worth their time & effort.

We're in pre-production now for a new series called xxx Average Joe. Fans will be chosen through a contest on the site to have sex with a porn star. Not only will the fan be allowed to wear a mask but they will also be paid to do the scene just like a pro. The project will feature a couple average joe types within the industry, canera guys and assistants, that will help winners through it or complete the job should the average joe not be able to perform.

I've done several fan fuck productions during the last few years and I'd say performance anxiety is probably why we don't see more series involving fans.

Not yet but it's in the can. I'm concerned about releasing another solo artist video. I think it would be better if there were more girls being "driven."

Don't want you to be confused. Not all "productions" necessarily have to be on film. They could be on the Internet or they could be simply a special event. I did a series called casting couch for the Internet, Driving Ms. Victoria which I'm trying to decide what to do with, The Anal Gangbang for fans, and for special events I "produced" parties for fans at a swingers club in Florida and one in LA where I also "produced" a release party for a film.

Okay, I'll get threm on it. Have a couple ahead of it though. Scenes with fans or members works just like the industry. If someone has the required tests, I prefer not using a condom.

We won't be using ALL fans or members either. We will be selecting one or two each month as stated, but will use average looking talent to fill in between and to finish a scene when a fan or member cannot perform.

The reason more companies don't do fan based films, and I'm guessing here, is because first you have to find enough fans willing to do it on film to continue the series. I'm sure the first couple titles would be easy. After that, finding enough that will actually go on film may proove a little difficult.

Second, when someone has never done it before, they may or may not be able to perform with a camera up their ass.

But no, it won't be a scam. I think if there is anyone on here that knows me, they can tell you that I always have looked out for the fans and try to come up with new ways to get them involved.

The World Record film was the best. 110 fans came from as far away as London, some driving across country to be there, with tests, to participate. I believe we broke the fan attendance record for a movie on that one. I can't tell you how much the fans mean to me.

A porn star did a 101 Anal gangbang with fans?? Where was I! Glad im not an american, otherwise i would probably also foolishly taken off work to travel across the country to where ever this took place. The things we do for sex.
Rediculous!

On the general topic i would agree that it isnt in general a very easy or profitable thing to organise. Just too many snags.

STD's is an obvious one. Then the performance factor. Then the mere fact that most guys are not kindof aware of what goes on behind the scenes in porn. The waiting periods , the breaks , the lighting , all the people etc. add to this the probability of the odd bad egg pitching up and we are left with a management nightmare!

With all that said: if it can be done successfully then GREAT! And well done to whoever is willing to do it.

Somehow i dont think that will be as big a problem as you may think. With propper advertising im guessing you will get too many applicants as opposed to too few. The quality of the applicants i can of course not guarentee. And once one sifts through who one can and can not use then maybe the numbers could be a problem. But HELL ... well done with what you already did.

The anal gangbang went off without a hitch. Took 6 months to coordinate but worth it. Filmed it in 7 hours and I would say 98 % of the fans were able to perform without too much stage fright. LOL

The problem with sifting through the applicants is that there is absolutely no way of telling if someone can perform or not until the time comes.

Well surely it would be a start by saying on first meeting them ... drop your trousers and get hard!

Surely if a guy can get hard on his own he would be able to 'perform' ?

And if he cant get hard on his own you ditch him. This can of course be done by some random assistant.

I would think the 'stagefright' of getting a hardon infront of some random male assistant would equate to the 'big moment'
