Then I think three other questions should be added: More demeaning than other 'normal' jobs? If you think it is demeaning, why do you do it? Do you think it is demeaning to the men in porn? Because, let us face it, they are props.
andSo...you're saying that you're a fan of any and every performer who happens across this thread?
re: the question of whether porn is demeaning...seems like an old argument that been rehashed by both sides for decades now. I'd be interested if anyone has anything new or unique to add.
Interestingly nobody ever asks if pornography is demeaning towards human beings.
The politically correct answer is: "Yes, pornography is demeaning to women." You won't argue with such bright women like McKinnon and Dworkin and their late postergirl Linda Lovelace or organisations which rather see women as kitchen-accessories and breeding-machines, which have the same agenda.(seehere, e.g.).
I'm not a performer or a woman, so I won't offer an opinion other than to say that there are some interesting discussions of this topic in some older threads: here, here, here, and here.
Are you talking to the talent or the directors, producers, etc? Yet you're a huge fan? You sound confused. Stop sniffing glue.
Seriously, no matter how hard my hair is pulled or no matter how hard those cocks are beating up my face, everything that I do as a performer is MY CHOICE! Sometimes my limits are pushed, but they are PUSHED TO MY LIKING!
I think porn is empowering to all of us (talent, production and fans).
Porn is truth... which the majority of society can not deal with in any intelligent fashion. Besides, there are so many agendas out there that require porn as their foil to unite their own sheep.
Human beings are degraded and exploited on a daily basis by social and economic circumstances beyond their control. Sure, there are drug-addicted pornchicks sucking cock to pay for a fix. Maybe we would prefer they were robbing convenience stores and shooting people instead? And, the single mother working two jobs for minimum wage trying to support a child (and not succeeding because it is impossible), is somehow acceptable?
As for girls being "degraded" because they choose a career in porn, give me a break.
Are the people who empty the bedpans at nursing homes being "degraded" because their job sucks? No. But they are being underpaid and being exploited!
I have a tough time getting worked-up over girls earning $500-$1,000 to fuck a pornstud and let him cum on her face. Porn is a valid career choice. And it pays a whole lot better than the alternatives! Porn is not only NOT degrading, it is liberating :)

No everyone get's paid what's so demeaning about that if they did this without getting paid then they were doing it for fun. Girls in this business call the shot's they only do what they want to.
