There is myth that most of the porn hostility comes from religion. Although much of Christianity is hostile to porn and other explicit means of celebrating lust. Many godless states have shown legal hostility toward porn. The last time I checked China is basically secular yet their government is hostile toward porn.

I am pretty sure that Russia for most of its histroy had legal sanctions against porn.

Those who feel porn is the enemy toward romance are secular and share very brutal hostility toward porn that often leads to desires to censor it.

We can not blame Christianity for the hostility and moral repulsion agains porn.

There is an ancient saying "Panem et circenses": bread and games.

Keep the people happy and you can do what ever you want.

The US has the biggest porn industry, a quarter of all websites are porn related.

In the public you have the nipplegate outrage, but under the surface nearly everything is available and someone has to consume it.

Here in Germany you have to register with your ID, to view an uncensored cover picture in an adult DVD web shop.
No zillions of free trailers swirling around downloadable for everyone.
But its nothing special to see a breasts a 1 pm or even complete nudity on TV.

Russia
My Russian is nearly nonexistent, I have problems with their written language, but for a small talk with a girl it was OK, but she was a Moslem so that has nothing to do with orthodox Christ's.
I've read recently something
Before the Perestroika there was not much acceptance for sex, because the "virgin" Mary thinking was very propagated by church.
The sex boom started when Russia was changing in the beginning of 1990's, prostitution was seen as a symbol for free capitalism.
But nowadays the woman is an object and misogyny is gone further.
You have all those websites like www.bride.ru you can choose a woman.

church
Until celibacy was arranged after 1139 or so priest could marry, have children but it was common to have more than one woman and just for pure pleasure.
To get things focused again on religion the pope got the new law installed.
It's like with everything too much is not good for you, but they should find a way in the middle. And look at their own history

Bill Clinton was not accepted, so it's better to hide it.

You answered half of my point.

Now let me here's the full point:

Authoritarians of all stripe hate sex, stop asserting that Christiainty is the mere source of porn hostility. It is not even the mere source hear. Romantics, feminists and even men's groups have developed theories to hate porn demonize those who either make them, particiapte them and watch them.

Yeah, but it's easy to understand why major religions are anti-porn. Most religions give followers set of rules to live by. Again most religions say “no sex before marriage". Now this makes perfect sense because throughout history promiscuity has lead to disease and ultimately death.
Now the the countries you have mentioned Russia, China etc have tried to take the place of religion with "State rules"; so instead of your religion telling you porn is off limits the State\Government does it!
Where I would differ from most religions and anti-porn countries is I don’t believe watching porn makes people MORE promiscuous. In fact I would argue it can have the opposite effect!

It all, and ALWAYS, comes down to...

"If ya don't fuckin' like it...don't listen/watch it!!"

Same goes for Stern, but they've finally forced him to go to the cable version of radio, and good for him. I can't wait to hear him vent on Sirius! And watch the moral majority cringe at his scourge of his tongue!!

To Pagoda....well friggin' said dude!!!

All religions are against porn as far as I know, not just Christianity (who incidently has a record number of pedophile priests.) As for country governments they are hypocritical as Hell, they talk crap about pornography but are still happy when they see the tax money it generates, so fuck them.

And I agree with some people here : nobody is forcing anybody to watch porn. You don't wanna see it, don't look at it, simple as that.

Most who speak against sex or porn stars or prostitutes are in need of sex the most. This topic reminds me of a story by W. Somerset Maugham called "Sadie Thompson" aka "Rain". It's been turned into a play a number of times and made into several movies most notably as a silent with Gloria Swanson(Sadie Thompson) and a 1932 talkie with Joan Crawford(Rain) and also much later and watered way down with Rita Hayworth. Without giving too much spoiler away it's about a ho(prostitute)who travels to some south pacific island and is loved by the U.S. Marines and is harassed by the local pastor. The ending will stun you if you don't know the story. But Maugham's story is a good analogy of the attitudes of people in real life.

The conspiracy to put a cap in Stern's show should be a red flag toward the hostility to horny fuckers like us. But still people are in this dream land mentality that moral hostilty to our sexual culture does not lead to censoship. If they capped Stern what makes porn so invulnerable. I speak out passionately in the defense of the ideas of our industry because I care about its future. The conspiracy against Stern should be the warning sign that there will be a new legal and cultrual battle waged against porn from the right and others who simply find it a cultural threat.

People often tie their religious beliefs into their arguements for why porn is bad. This means I would have to accept their religion and their particular interpretation of such to begin to accept the arguement.
In fact, they often make their religion more prominent than their supposed cause. Very annoying.

Maybe it is wrong. I can tie Christianity into anything I want though. Maybe your point is that I would be incorrect in doing so.

Is she called a "ho" in any of the films? If not, I have to wonder at why you choose to use that word and then clerify it by putting "prostitute" in brackets, rather than just using the correct word to begin with.

I'm sure that some/many porn stars do enjoy much of the fucking that they do on set, and I'm sure that some do have orgasms, but the oft-repeated line (seen here on ADT ad nauseum as well) that "I always cum during my scenes" and that "I always luv being fucked on set" etc comes across to me as utter bullshit.

They're not having sex in the privacy of their own homes with someone they want to have sex with, they're having sex often in a hot or cold environment, with hot lights, in various uncomfortable positions, stopping and starting at the director's call, over a hell of a lot longer than the 10-20mins you see in the finished DVD, with 2-10 other people (director, camera, other crew or hangers-on) standing around on set, and the person that's fucking them in the ass without a condom then sticking their dick in her mouth may or may not be someone that they first met an hour before.

So yeah, sometimes I'm sure the sex is really enjoyable, that orgasms happen, that the chemistry is just there. That it happens all the time? Bullshit. It's a job. It's a job that the performers get well-paid for. Ever had a day when you just couldn't be bothered going to work? If a starlet does that she's called a flake and loses future work because of it. So she shows up, the scene may or may not suffer, depending on her "acting" skills, but

Performers tell white lies to their fanbase about how much fun and how hot their sex always is to build on their popularity, to get more fans clamouring for their hot scenes, so the producers hear that soandso is in demand from rabid internet fans, so the performers get more work.

Not all performers give us the line that they "always cum/love all my scenes/etc" but not buying the line has nothing to do with Church, State, "Feminism" or anything else. Just common sense.

In other news, strippers really]i/] like talking to you just for your personality.

Scipio:

So to be on the safe side watch the girls witch explode every time they come. For example if you watch Cytherea in early movies/clips you can tell she didn't orgasm there

I have seen a clip where Jenna Jameson was on a Sybian and it looked like she was so uncomfortable showing her orgasm on camera, that she rolled off of that thing fast.

This applies equally to men also. I think there are men who have wood problems but yet it is assumed all or most of them are having a jolly good time regardless of the situation. it is assumed that it is so easily for themn to have hard ons regardless of the situation you described because simply they are men. I have seen tons of men who tank a performance and look like they are not enjoying it. Shooting cum is not the ultimate indicator of male sexual enjoyment. I have cum jerking off plenty of times and it was not that enjoyable or even enjoyable at all.

I have seen dudes sleeping in gangbangs with hot chicks when they are waiting for their turn to bang the chick. So if we are going to think only women or mostly women don't enjoy the sex, maybe people should watch their porn more closely, because I see a lot of guys going throught the motions. Men don't enjoy the sex as much as the women. Believe me. Do you think all these guys are attracted to the women they are fucking. NO offense guys who fuck 80 year old women are doing it for the money.

My problem with this women doing for the money crap and they don't enjoy is that is only aimed at women when it is pretty obvious that stage anxicty, interruptions and fucking unnattracitve chicks makes it suck equall for men as well. Just look at these guys some of them are the most lame performers in the histroy of porn.

The word ponography comes from this greek word for whore (the oldest profession they say) ... so when married men went out to fuck whores their wifes got pissed and thus porn is viewed upon as a threat to monogamy which is the most common way of marriage.

Religions are just using this to further enslave people.

For Christians sex is a big thing because it's a big thing to God
and for a Jew sexual activities are a mitzvah too, so no problems over here
besides fucking an Angel is as close as you can come to the idea of God.

Um, no shit? Everything I wrote applies just as much to the men, but it was in direct response to this:
I still can't see your point. Why not believe it? Because it's Da Movies!

After all, following your logic, if you see <anything , from any film>, why not believe it?

there's really no reason. Ho is more of a modern term. But if I used ho or prostitute most people would make the connection. No, ho is not used in any of the films or by Maugham himself. Ho is a play on the word whore. Ho is a word that I heard in the black community long before it became popular culture. Ho is not even offensive anymore whereas at one time it could be a fightin word. If I had used ho by itself and not mentioned prostitute, I would have been going straight to the point of what Sadie's 'profession' was.

What I am saying is that men are faking more than the women because it is obvious in what I see. I see too many male peformers fuck hotties as if they are dead.

I also see tons of female perfomers suck dick and fuck like they enjoy it and there are certain physical expressions and reactions to fucking that are virtually impossible to fake without appearing insincere on screen.

So do you believe everything on television is fake 100%. How about reality TV? How about real life documentaries? Your making a stupid assumption that if something is filmed people do not have sincere emotions. Shit some of the best "actors" of our time had sincere emotions regardless if it was in a fictional context.

From what I have seen from many performers Janine in g/g, and Rocco in straight. They have sincere emotions in situations that are either fictional or do not represent general reality. So what I am telling you is that their emotions are often sincere. I have seen night calls and agree that the hosts (Tiff and Julie) are generally not turned on by some stranger who calls the show, but it is still.

For you to assume just because it is filmed, there emotions are insincere is just as naive. Why would you think %5 of performers don't enjoy what they are doing espcially a hot chick. It is very easy for this same hot chick to fuck a seven figure dude as it is for her to be in a porno that pays much less. Still don't see how being on camera means your emotions are fake. Should we think that men or women crying on television is fake because it is on camera.
