No, my mom did not try and make me quit over Thanksgiving, but of course they felt that was oh so dramatic, as you could tell by the smirk on my face. God I wanted to laugh so bad at some points. They used three tapes to record the two minute segment...sheeesh! Although I did have a problem with the initial interview when asked, are you scared to get hiv...my answer wasn't just,"no". On the second segment that aired last night, when the "Dr." said, I hate to disagree with you because our testing is sometimes flawed...that's generalizing, we get tested once a month---not once a year where yes, if you don't catch it it could cause infertility. I don't want the public to think I don't have a clear idea about my profession, I take it seriously, and stds aren't something that should be brushed off the shoulder oh so lightly as they implied. The Insider was a lot less judgmental than Tyra, after all it's just ratings they are after! Whats funny is that the only times i've watched her show..the topic have always been about sex in some form. I also watch if she has one of my favs celebs on...like Beyonce,Jada Pinkett,etc. I missed the episode with Jenna Jameson. I heard Tyra was kinda pleasent with her. I saw the Tyra Bankxxx show...tyra wanted to save her so bad, but that girl didn't want to be saved. After she appeared on Tyra, a while after..I saw her in Justin Slayers "LiL QT's" #2 having the time of her life. LOL Jessica Drake and Savanna did gret interviews...they represented the adult industry well. Jessica is soo articulate and i had no idea. Anyway...I'll definetly be watching the Sasha Grey episode.
