It depends on whether you prefer to be the Peeping Tom or the stud who does the lady. Some men are chilvarous gentlemen who are satisfied with watching the beautiful lady from a respectful distance. While others are pigs who want to fuck her, preferably in the ass. Perhaps chilvary is dead now. And it's the fuck-pigs who prevail. This kind of sentiment among men towards women tends to go through cycles from one generation to another. And perhaps chilvary among men towards women will return some time in the future. Many women now see nothing wrong with being like men in many ways. Which includes having sex. Women don't have cocks. But they have asses, just like men have. That is a good point. I remember a time when calling a woman a bitch or a whore would result in a slapped face. These days, women, especially young ones, expect that kind of treatment. As a result, we are seeing it running rampant in modern porn. What is even worse is that it is becoming common in society as well. Modern porn, with very few exceptions, is a big disappointment for me. I've said a number of times before in various posts that I like to see comfortable participants with a respect for one another getting down and displaying their pleasure for us to see. Degrading, forced or otherwise disrespectful scenes where the performers are just that... [bold]performers[/bold], doing it for the money, are a major turn off for me. Sadly, that is the bulk of what is available these days. I have a ton of what I believe to be good ideas for porn that is not only modern, but meaningful and erotic. I’d really like to try to put some of those ideas to work. Sure, they won’t appeal to the so called “fuck-pigs”, but from what I’ve read in dozens of threads, we are not the only ones who are in search of quality stuff. I believe there is a big market for it. "Fantasy will set you free!"
Perhaps porn is a reflection of society and people's feelings in it. There is a lot of divorce and conflict going on between men and women in society. And some of these feelings are expressed in the pushing, the shoving, the name calling, and the slapping that you see in many porn movies today. But there is no reason why porn has to be only a reflection of what's going on in society. Porn is a fantasy. And in fantasy you can create something that can be, instead of just something that is. But to make such fantasy believable, you need to start the action from something that is and lead it to something that can be. I think it would be nice to see some slapping and name-calling at the beginning of the scene that leads to peace-making and sex to seal their friendship deal. Of course, to make such a scene believable. The lady needs to be assertive and even aggressive in pushing back the guys as much as they push her around. When the conflict is between equals. Then making peace makes perfect sense for everyone.
But when did all this start? I don't remember porn being like that a few years ago... There MUST be some studios don't do anal, but have soft sensual scenes, focusing more on the ladies than then men?
I wouldn't say there's too much "focus" on the guys. I mean, there are the face shots, god knows why they still do them. But I don't mind the guy being in the frame as long as the girl is as well. The problem with guys in porn these days is their abusiveness, their talking and the fact that way too many of them are creepy.
Male talented is already undervalued in today's porn, barely seen, and this ends up being a bad thing for the female fans of porn, who would like the guy to have as much presence as the woman, to be admired and appreciated...
