We seem to have a perceptual monopoly on porn in 4 general areas - the US, Europe, Brazil and Far East (Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand).

What do people in Australia watch? Or open-minded Arab nations like Turkey? Or what about Latin America? Or nations in Africa that aren't third world (like South Africa). What about India? Does Communist China allow porn?

Everyone likes sex. That's universal.

Just curious.

Porn is banned in China offially but there is a flourishing black market as well as in India.

Turkey is an muslim country so no porn.

French magazine "Hot Video" regularly do special articles on porn in different countries/regions. They have been to South-East Asia (Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea), Argentine, South Africa, Finland, England, Greece and some other countries. For instance, they have also devoted a special article to porn in Israel. A funny thing they found out was that German porn was very popular there. Sarah Young and Kelly Trump were some of the best selling stars.

I don't know about Turkey. Nothing like Saudi Arabia.

They are pretty liberal and Western-minded.

I rented a Turkish DVD one time. Maybe it was just shot by a Euro company in Turkey, but the Turkish flag was on their boat and on the DVD label.

Last time I was in Germany I spotted at least 10 dvds with Turkish girls in it. Seems some are filmed in Turkey, some in Germany. I rented 3 and watched it at Russian friends home in Berlin: and it was very soft. Only 1 girl did anal and most girls were not presented nicely. Also most Turkish girls did not really know how to move. I like dark eyed Turkish type of girl, but to enjoy Turkish porn tapes, some more efforts are needed.
Its like most of our Russian porn. Good girls, but only amateur film quality.

Hello All,

This is a pretty old thread but I have just come across.

Let me give some information about porn in Turkey.

First of all, in the edge hard porn magazines are sold in stores but movies are not legally sold. However, you can find illegal copies of lots of movies from some stores and sex shops. (there are lots of legal sex shops in Turkey)

A DVD is 5$.
A VCD is 1-2$.

There are some Turkish titles made by a guy called Sahin K and they stink.

Turkey is definitely not an Arab country. Pretty liberal and western-minded also.

No racism, please.

porn is officially banned in most states in australia. on the other hand the authorities by and large turn a blind eye so you can get pretty much anything (as long as it is not extreme such as scat, bestaility, etc.) either online or in sex shops. as far as a local industry i am sure there are a few black-ops style productions around but to the best of my knowledge it is non existent. so we watch mostly american or european porn

We Aussie get alot of European and US porn here and probably view stuff similar to U guys. Regarding the Middle East, I was in Lebanon this time last year and they get Cannel 1 (or whatever that French cable channel is)which has full-on porn at about 1-2 am in the early morning, party bonus!!! Porn is also readily available in Israel, Syria and Jordan are another kettle of fish. BTW Turkey is an Islamic but not an Arab nation.
