joneric Member 115 Posts 12/06	Posted - Dec 26 2011 : 4:26PM You can get VLC for the Ipad and it will let you watch videos of many different file formats, but I've found that even it has trouble reading some '.avi' files (mp4 and mpeg files are fine). But if you convert them to .mp4 format, you'll be fine. [Link]

Click to expand Safari is the default browser and it doesn't support FLV but there are other ways to watch FLV on iPad. I know some porn sites offer mp4 and wmv files. If you're downloading from tube sites, many of them use FLV. Best to look at the sources you commonly use and see what format they offer. [Link]

They get to see a sample of my work without me having to send them a big video file. I've shown airline passengers samples when they ask what I do, and I even shared a scene with my MD the other day. If it's a video format that the iPad doesn't support, then you can have it converted on the go as you're streaming. It's pretty efficient at doing that too.
