I'm not sure there are any current performers who could match Clooney and Lopez's chemistry in this scene, but the cop falling for the criminal dynamic would still be fun to explore. And the cast is diverse so you could have some decent roles for black performers, which would address the common complaint that features often give black performers the short shrift. Both Clooney and Lopez's characters have exes so they could have scenes with them before they finally hook up at the climax. Don's Cheadle's character could have a scene with two girls he's training to box (or maybe a prison scene with a female guard). Instead of Ving Rhames character calling his sister before he's about to commit a crime you could have him call his wife instead and have a scene with them. Albert Brooks character could have a scene with his sexy secretary before he's robbed at the end. Really a lot of possible points to have sex scenes that are fairly organic to the plot. And Karen Sisco (Lopez's character) could be the basis for an ongoing film series. They could draw on the unfortunately short-live Karen Sisco show that starred Carla Gugino for inspiration. Who could best play Bedelia du Maurier, Margo, Alana Bloom, Will, Jack, Bella and of course Hannibal... I'm thinking Manuel as Hannibal as played by Mads Mikelson. He'd look great in a nice Hannibal-like suit (with the signature paisley tie). For Bedelia, played by Gillian Anderson, Kimberly Kane who did a good job as a redhead Anderson in the porn version of XFiles could return with her original blonde look. Alana Bloom, I'm thinking it Valentina Nappi, despite her Italian accent would be good, particularly for the more femme fatale version in season three. For Margo, I'm thinking Nickey Huntsman who has the same big eyes and is really good at kink. Her and Valentina would turn in a killer g/g scene as the characters in the series are lovers. Will Graham is a hard call, I'll have to think on it and return back. Bella, Misty Stone would be great I think. She has the same full lips and sexy confidence. Jack...Jack is another hard one as like Will we need someone with acting chops in addition to the right look. Freddie Lounds is played by the very attractive and talented redhead Lara Jean Chorostecki. I think Ella Hughes would be terrific with her hairstyle changed or a wig to match Freddie's. She would be able to bring the nasty spark and elegance the role needs. Beverly Katz, Asa would have been good for this smaller role but of today's performers I'm thinking Vina Sky. Mason Verger would have been a natural for ol' Jamie Gillis in his prime...Anthony Rosano has the acting and comedic chops for the role but looks to have retired a few years ago.
