I was watching the Ass Worship 8 trailer, fixated by the seemingly humongous strand of anal beads being used on Kami Andrews. Since I've never seen any kind of toy resembling it, I did a look at an adult toy retailer to see if I could find a similar product, with negative results. It was far from the first time I've noticed a dildo, plug, set of beads, or any other kind of novelty in a porn movie. So I'm wondering, where do the makers of porn find some of these toys? Do the novelty companies manufacture some of them exclusively for a certain scene? Does a porn director simply have more options to choose from than the average consumer? And another question along the same parallel: What happens to a toy after it is used in a scene? Is it thrown away? Does the performer keep it? Is it simply run through the dishwasher and used again? Also, most of the adult toy companies are based in CA, so the stores here are more likely to carry the newest and the latest designs and variety. The ratio of toys that have to be returned to the director after the scene is shot vs. letting the girl keep the toy is 50/50. I get extatic when I get to keep the glass dildos! And in some cases, the toys are brought by the talent. [Link]

The only color available was a translucent green that I used in scenes with Lyla Lei and Tory Lane, although they were made in an opaque lime green and translucent rose and blue. The toy is made in a small and large thickness. After the scene I ran it through the dishwasher and the heat turned the color to a nice shade of opaque snot white/green and I threw it away, although Skeeter Kerkove has used the same toy with the snot color in a scene with Melissa Lauren (sorry, I can't recall the title). Moral is if you are lucky enough to find one, clean it with an alcohol submerssion or trash it. I know Falcon Industries makes a version in opague black or flesh, but the translucent colors are what really makes it for me. Since I have shared all I know about this great toy, I would be grateful if anyone locates a distributor to share the info with me. I've been looking for a while. Peace out...
