| Jason200 New Member 3 Posts 6/02 |  Posted - Jul 5 2002 : 7:55PMOK, I'm a horror fan who also just happens to like porn (imagine that!) and am interested in hearing any recommendations you guys may have for good porn movies with a horror slant be it vampires or whatever. I tried out Wicked's PornoGothic though it doesn't have that much to do with horror. Aside from a few connecting scenes involving vampires, its well-lit straight porn fare. I know most people enjoy their porn well-lit (and I do to..) but I'm looking for something a bit darker. Any suggestions? Thanks. [Link] |

Many of the companies that made these films/early videos are out o' business now, so it doesn't seem like it'd be terribly expensive to get the rights/produce these...and with previews of some of their new films, you might get some old farts like me to pick up a title or two they'd never have thought twice about. Aggie is the ONLY adult film that I've seen in a theater and the next day gone back with friends to show them that porn could be interesting for reasons other than the obvious. Got an e-mail from one of ADT's sponsors this week listing new "classic" titles on DVD. One of them was Sex Punk 2000. Classic? Not by any definition I'd use. But I digress... astroknight  Questionable Moderator Tastes so good... 4187 Posts 11/99 | Posted - Jul 6 2002 : 1:10PM DARK ANGELS (review coming within the next few days if things work right) is excellent, and just a little darker in tone than PORNOGOTHIC. It's also one of the only adult movies I've seen with vampires that actually shows them feeding with quite a bit of blood. BLOODRITE sounds like it might be to your liking, but has a fairly artistic feel. It's a very unique movie and one that really ended up surprising me in a good way. LIMBO by Michael Raven might be to your liking. It's fairly plot oriented, but has a very dark feel which might have something to do with the storyline revolving around a woman's life passing before her eyes as her husband has her killed. BEAST by Michael Raven also has a psychological horror slant and UNDERWORLD is a retelling of Orpheous in Hell complete with Harpies. From the little I've seen of Extreme associates, you'll get darker lit movies, but most of that seems to be a lack of care or budget rather than adjusting the lighting to enhance or create the mood of the feature.
