The idea is simple: we get together a group of posters (anywhere from 10-30) and "draft" currently active porn stars the way sports teams draft athletes. I'm thinking we could have 12 rounds or so. The order of the draft would be determined randomly and would be in the "snake" format that fantasy sports drafts use. Then we will all post our "teams" and vote on who has the best one. This is the thread to opt into the game. My hope is to have the draft live so that all the participants are on at the same time. For that reason, I ask you to please state in this thread your preferred time to do this to make it easier to pick a time to have it. Make sure to give a time zone so I can factor that into my time zone (eastern standard time). Alternatively, we could just have it as an ongoing thing that could take several days or even weeks to compete. While not as desirable, that may be the most realistic option. [Link] |

| I P Freely Member 335 Posts 10/11 | Posted - May 28 2015 : 8:17PM The most sensible way is to have a deadline for any and all entrants to submit a list of performers ranked 1 thru 50 or 100 or however many they want, in the order they want to draft them. Then with a random draft order, player 1 gets the first performer on their list for their team. That performer is then removed from everyone else's list. Player 2 then gets the first performer on their list, and so on. If you are drafting 10th and the first nine names on your list have been taken, then you will get the performer you listed as #10. Otherwise you will get someone in your top ten. Strategy when selecting performers becomes key, you may want to move some middle-rounders up to make sure you get good picks even if you don't get superstar picks. If the "season" is short, next season's draft can go in reverse order of the previous season's standings, so someone with a bad team will have a chance to redeem themselves. [Link] |
