Just got back from San Diego a few hours ago, where I spent the last 5 days for Comic-Con International 2011. This was the third straight year I've attended, and I had more fun than ever. While the vast majority of my photo collection is comprised of some pretty damn amazing cosplay, there was the added presence of the ladies you'll see below. As far as I know, the only girl I missed was Chanel Preston on Thursday (Day 1), which is a damn shame. P.S. In case you're wondering, I do have every intention of posting a thread (an albeit abbreviated one) about my experience at EXXXOTICA Chicago a couple weeks ago. The reason for the delay is that I'm waiting for a website (which provided me with media access) to select and post the shots I submitted. Once that's done, I can go ahead and post the rest on my Flickr, as well as right here. Stay tuned for that. Anyways, back to Comic-Con!
Sasha Grey Let's get the big one out of the way right off the bat, shall we? Prior to Thursday, I had absolutely no idea that Sasha was gonna be signing at the show. I had only just read about her role in Saints Row: The Third a few days ago, so my brain didn't have time to put 2 and 2 together. Only 100 wristbands were handed out for her 1-hour signing slot, so I made a beeline for that booth as soon as I got in the door. Since it had been over a year and a half since I last saw Sasha (at AEE 2010), I didn't have high hopes for immediate recognition - if any at all. Thankfully, I couldn't have been more wrong. As soon as I stepped up to the podium, Sasha lit up and cried, "AAALAAAAAAAN!!!" That's "Alan" in regular, day-to-day speak. How she remembered my real name, I haven't a goddamn clue. We hugged, I espoused how "fucking proud" I am of how far she's come, we hugged again, blah blah blah. If it weren't for the line of 90+ fans behind me, I would've stayed longer. But believe it or not, I actually did have other shit to do that day. So I got my autograph, we hugged (again), and I begged Sasha to not be a stranger. All in all, it was a pretty fun moment and a definite highlight of my weekend.
Tanya Tate as Electra Woman Although I did know ahead of time that Monstar and Tanya would be attending, I never expected to actually run into them. If you've never been to Comic-Con, you must understand that it takes an enormous amount of effort and luck to find your own dick in those crowds. That is not an exaggeration. We never made any plans to meet up, so it took me by complete surprise when they walked through the front door just as I was turning to walk away. Tanya's costume is not an exact replica of Electra Woman's, namely in the cleavage department. Apparently, she had to insist to the costume designer that this was how she wanted it. Several times, no less. I don't know how that conversation went, but I imagine it sounded elegant and charming.
Inari Vachs As I was leaving EXXXOTICA Chicago and heading to my car, I ran into Inari in the hotel lobby. I gave her a hug and said a very heartfelt goodbye. After all, I had no idea how long it would be until we met again, seeing as how I won't be attending any more adult shows for the rest of this year, and AEE remains a huge question mark for now. So imagine my pleasant surprise when Inari announced she would be signing at the Carnal Comics booth on Friday and Saturday. Even cooler, she was there to promote her own upcoming comic book. How cool is that? Pretty damn cool, damn it. Inari was selling and signing 11x17 prints of the first issue's cover art, and I got the first numbered print! Unfortunately, she didn't sell too many at the show, but it didn't appear to dampen her spirits any bit. Inari wants to write and tell her story, and I say bravo.
Justine Joli & Heather Vandeven JJ & Heather weren't scheduled to sign at the THQ booth until Saturday, but I actually ran into them the day before. Now I know JJ is a self-professed dork, so that came as no surprise. But Heather was just as excited to check out the show. That never fails to make me happy. By the way, if you have a problem with either of these girl's inclusion in this "Porn Star..." thread, then you're just being a nitpicky buttmunch. I tried to think of something more sophisticated to say, but I think that covers it.
Xander Corvus (as Spider-Man), Ryan Driller (as Superman), & Allie Haze (as Princess Leia) I'll be honest, I really didn't spend much time (okay, none) chatting with either Xander or Ryan. But I will say this - Spidey's costume looks pretty awesome. I mean, seriously awesome. Say what you will about porn parodies, they can nail the details every once in a while. The focus of my attention, of course, was the lovely Allie Haze. My word, she looks positively adorable in this get-up. Allie was also suprisingly happy to see me, but I won't bore you with the details. All I care about is the fact I got an exuberant hug from Princess Leia while she promotes a movie (and hopefully sequels) in which she sucks and fucks dick. Never thought my love of Star Wars would ever get this notch on the belt.
Lizzy Borden as The Joker Finally, we return to the Carnal Comics booth for this little bit of weirdness. I'd never met Lizzy before, and to be honest, I'm still not sure if this counts. We didn't really talk about anything. I just complimented the make-up, got a couple shots, and that was it. Hell, I couldn't even get a smile (don't let the make-up fool you). Was she tired? In character? Wait, that last one doesn't make sense, since The Joker isn't really known for being low-key. Whatever, I don't really care. All I can say is... The Joker's got a really nice rack.
Sasha Gray lighting up? Now THAT would be something to see. I guess now that she's out of the business she can let herself smile ;-). Sounds like a great time. thanks for the pics
I agree, Allie Haze is yummy!!!! Very nice pics man. Did you use a camera or your phone? They turned out great. I'd feel bad if I tried to take pic and had to ask again due to it being blurry.....
^ I would... if I could figure out an appropriate forum on this board to post cosplay photos on. I didn't really get any celebrity shots, so Pop Culture's out. Sex Talk, perhaps? bmh5: I used my own Canon, for sure. Most girls encourage you to check the photo first before leaving, so blurry images are rarely a problem.

When I met Sasha Grey a couple of times at x-rated conventions, she came across as unemotional. This was true especially the first time. After the first time, I took it personally and wondered if she disliked me for some reason. At a later convention, I talked to someone who knows her and when I mentioned her name, I was told that signings with Sasha Grey can be a problem because Sasha is a shy person. She was friendlier the second time I met her. She was still reserved but she was nicer. A porn actor once told me that it can be hard to tell whether a person is shy or arrogant because both types of people have the same facial expressions. He said that you have to get to know the person to know which it is. I notice in these photos and many others that she is not smiling. She looks serious and unemotional. I have noticed in behind the scenes footage for her x-rated movies, she can alternate between being friendly and being reserved at showing emotions. When she is being friendly, Sasha has a sexy mischievous smile. When the sex scenes are going on, she is very vocal and energetic. It's like Clark Kent turning in to Superman. Sasha is one of my favorite sexual performers of all time. She is very attractive and exudes sex appeal. Both times I met her, I was talking to her about Carnal Comics doing a comic book about her. At the first signing, I handed her free comic books and a contract to keep and read over. She never contacted Carnal Comics to pursue the comic book. Great photos as always, AnimeNut. Always great to see girls like Sasha, Inari & Tanya. I've never been to Comic-Con but from the photos people have post of the show, the aisles are so crowded it looks a like a sea of bodies you have swim through. I appreciate you going out of your way to photograph these girl and post these photos here. Bummer about missing Chanel Preston. She posted a photo of herself in the Wonder Woman costume signing at her table on Twitter. The only other girl you missed was Nikki Benz signing at Saints Row. Like Sasha Grey, she was only there for one hour, so it's quite understandable (why in the world these girls get flown all the way out to San Diego to only work the floor for 1 HOUR, I'll never understand.) I'm surprise you didn't bump in to April O'Neil in the line for the Dr. Who panel. She didn't make it into the panel either. Once again, terrific photos and thanks for posting them.
It's always interesting to me how indiscriminate something like shyness is. You wouldn't think someone who looks as good as Sasha would be shy. I think this is the first I've heard of it and it surprised me. I'm very shy (IRL, that is) but I didn't recognize any shyness at all in Sasha in her movies.
