According to the local listing for UPN 9 in NYC, Savanna Samson, Jessica Drake and Sharon Mitchell are the listed guests, but Hersel Savage and Michael Raven also make appearances. Savanna and Jessica were very polished and smooth. The only thing memorable to me is that Jessica Drake has an awesome kitchen!
Saw the show, it was pretty good, even though Tyra was obviously against porn. Funny...the promos for tomorrow's show were all "The sexiest show ever!" and showing Terrence Howard naked and Tyra flirting with him.
Sharon Mitchell (I didn't know she was a real doctor now) came off looking very good, both beauty-wise and porno spokesperson-wise. Try as Tyra might with the sad music over clips and her own antsy attitude when asking questions, everyone came off looking good. Even the former performer who was on and who was trying to down the industry, Sharon trumped Tyra by being super-nice to the woman and offering her a post-porn job program. And the ex-performer took Sharon's offer! Sharon needs to be on every talk show about porn.
Michael Raven looked good too. Tyra had on a softcore model who wanted to make the transition to hardcore. The show brought her to a set where Raven was directing and got her an interview with him. He came off as gentle and non-threatening. I thought it was funny how part of the on-set interview is to trip people up when asking about their age.
i always thought in order to be a Phd you needed a masters degree and a bachelors degree first. then you spent 2 years working on your thesis for your Phd.
I have spent an hour downloading jpegs of Tyra making the same poses that pornstars make. I am now going to put them in my permanent porn collection and masturbate to them. It's from an unaccredited, "non-competetive" establishment (I won't dignify it with the word "school.") One of those places where you give them your money and they give you a Degree. No questions (like on a test or anything) asked.

You're right, Christian. Silly me. I just assumed that if you have a PhD - you have a bachelor's and a master's.
Roaul - Didn't even realize that mail-order schools exist for PhDs - what the hell kind of schlock is that?
I perused Mitchell's bio and there is no mention of previous schooling, but she's a certified counselor. That generally requires some sort of degree to meet certification qualifications. Unless she hit the mailbox again. Her bio is very self-promoting so I'm sure if she held a bachelor's and a master's, it would be mentioned.
Her "degree" is in Human Sexuality from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. Here are the definition of this "degree" and the requirements for attaining it.A bachelor's degree is supposed to be a requirement for admission to to this fine institution. However, they will accept students based on equivalency if they have the appropriate work experience in a sex related field.
This is one instance where Ph.D. truly stands for "piled high & deep".
BS = Bull Shit MS = More Shit Ph.D. = Piled Higher and Deeper.
Some of the 'Doctors' must have had title envy and would even refuse to acknowledge your existance if you forgot that title, others were pretty laid back about it, in formal settings Doctor was always used. Not sure how they would feel about "Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality".
I actually just watched the episode last night because I had taped it while I was at a lecture and I have one question for everyone who saw it: Did anyone else want to slap the bejesus out of Tyra? What an annoying woman! The way that she kept saying how much she doesn;t condone porn and all that, practically to the talents' faces. I would have smashed the bitch.
Seriously. Tyra brings more porn personalities to her show than anyone. I can only hope that a Tyra sex tape emerges. Not because I'm into her but because she won't have any ground to question anyone in the adult industry.

Most people, publicly anyway, don't condone of the industry. It's reasonable to conclude then that Tyra's role is to speak for those watching and voice their "disapproval."
In May you will be able to see Tyra talk about even more porn!! LOL
During may sweeps an episode that focus's mostly on our studios will be airing. It's called dorm porn. First they interviewed me, then our contract girl Casey Parker and then some of the guys from Frat House Films.
She wasn't too harsh on us .. but we will see after editing.
Yes Tyra hates porn .. but her producer made it very clear that it was their highest rated shows. They want to follow us on a College Invasion next. I think i will pass on that =)
It was obvious Tyra doesn't like porn, but what bugged the hell out of me was how exasperated she looked sometimes. "Holy shit! You actually make BROWNIES for the people you work with?! Even I don't do that and I don't screw them as often..."
