is this possible? is it legal for porn talent to have more than one agent? can they sign more than one contract? i've noticed talent both male and female on more than one agency website.
i understand the fact that some agents are licensed and some are not.

Most licensed and bonded agents have their talent sign an exclusive agreement. Some of the non-licensed agents allow their clients to be non-exclusive. Its a trade-off and an easy way for them to get talent to come on board to a new agency.
And some non-licensed agents try to get their talent to be exclusive.
The problem with an agent operating without a license in California is that an agent exposes themselves to liability. In order to collect a fee an agent MUST be licensed and bonded.
No license means talent can file a complaint with the Division of Labor Standards & Enforcement Talent Agency Division and request that all fees paid from her wages be reimbursed to her.
This is true in porn as well as mainstream. A lot of agents in mainstream have had to pay back their fees because of this.
