Meanwhile, I know very little about the other porn industries/countries you have listed. I may have seen a few features that would be considered German or from the UK and even less from the others. | T0MBOne Senior Member 1200 Posts 5/08 | Posted - Jul 25 2018 : 6:06PM So, these films are what I consider some of the best from the '70s and '80s and made in the US: Trouble with Young Stuff (Director Joe Sarno makes terrific stuff here, there and everywhere) Pandora's Mirror and Hot Dreams (Costello learns a thing or two from making those roughies in the '70s) V the Hot One Temptations Bella Baby Face and Pretty Peaches (top de Renzy comedies) American Desire In the '80s and '90s performer John Leslie turned to directing so I reviewed a John Leslie 4 on 1 and dug his Chameleon and the Cat Woman. I watched at a bunch more of his features and liked The Tease, Bad Habits and Chameleons-Not the sequel. Into the 90s, I discovered some films by French director Kris Kramski and loved Models plus American Girl in Paris and another with French tart Liza Harper called Lisa. He also does a version of Belle de Jour that's not nearly as good as V-the Hot One mentioned above. I reviewed a crazy French film with the US title Sexrageous then I had a look at other Tranbaree films like Educating Tricia and La Rabatteuse with Bridgette Lahaie. I also liked the Dorcel films from France that starred Laure Sinclair. Otherwise, back then, I saw some of those Andrew Blake and Michael Ninn flicks that may or may not appeal to you. Paul Thomas productions like Borderline are good but not great. Fade to Black seems to be the best of the PT movies. I reviewed a few films from that period: Façade Seduction of Mary Arcade Also scroll down and check out the thread about Vinegar Syndrome films because that group has done wonderful restorations of the Taboo series that you mentioned. ---tb--- [Link] |
