I'm having a hard time coming up with anything that wouldn't apply to escort services, and I'm assuming they get busted enough for it to be an occupational hazard; it isn't for porn, AFAIK. Why?
Escorting is different than prostitution because escorts sell their time or you might call it companionship. What they do or don't do during the allotted time is their own business.
Porn is not prostitution because it falls more into the category of performance, but the U.S. Justice Department and other prominent law enforcement entities crack down on pornographers under federal obscenity laws, which rely on a very broad, somewhat ambiguous definition of obscenity. Which is why we see Attorney General Alberto Gonzales talking tough and waging war against the adult entertainment industry. But because the actions of private citizens are subject mostly to obscenity laws that are unique to each state, the federal government mostly cracks down on pornography by regulating the intra-state sale and transport of adult material.

Basically, it seems to me that we have a situation of "because I say so". There's no legitimate legal basis for prosecuting Joe Schmoe who finds streetwalkers to suck and fuck him in front of his camera and gets his buddy to fork over the cash, but not the porn industry for doing the exact same thing.
