BTW when you say clean.. you mean physically (body bathe) or medically (medical exams..)? Well, the obvious answer in your question, is that maybe cleaning, in both cases might not be enough. For example some viruses take time to disclose themselves even with medical examination. Plus, the human factor comes in the equation and some people cannot always be trusted. So the threat of STD(Sexually Transmitted Diseases) and other dangerous viruses is quite real. Some adult companies don't risk the health of their actresses and actors, as well as serious lawsuits and they impose the use of condom in the scenes. Personally, I don't really like to see condoms in a scene. Sometimes, I unconsciously or consciously compare the porn I see with my personal sexual experiences. Thus, I know that condom reduces the pleasure from the direct physical contact, so watching a condom in porn I have the feeling that something artificial is interfering with the action. (It is like suddenly the dick becomes a dildo). Another reason is the visual appeal. The rubber deforms the shape of the cockhead and there are rear cases when its glowing texture cause lighting issues. Yet, in order to see beautiful starlets in hot action and because I comprehend the dangers of I learned to overlook it. In other words I will not start to yell in frustration if I spot a condom in a scene. Now if Porn has changed? From what I know, there are only a few companies worldwide that dictate the use of condom. These are the American feature studios (Vivid, Wicked...), and unfortunately all of the native French adult companies (VMD, JTC, Colmax etc..). A two week testing window reduces the number of possible transmission but it doesn't make it 100% safer.
