I've been a porn fan for a long time now, but in the past I've just sort of whatever was available. Only in the past few years have I found myself in the situation of having enough disposable income to actually purchase porn on a regular basis.

Now that I've built my collection up to 200 titles or so, I feel justified in making this observation: The sex that people are having in these movies is very, very bad sex.

I've also come to the conclusion that nearly all porn is gay porn. (Hear me out on this.) As a straight man, the visual image of a woman having an orgasm is a huge turn-on for me. This is seldom displayed, the camera usually cuts away at the last minute. Also, as a straight man, the visual image of another straight man blowing his load does, well, jack fuckin' shit for me. In fact, on many occasions it has prevented me from reaching the "goal" that I was hoping for when I popped the DVD in the player in the first frickin' place.

(Let's not even start on the topic of cutting the camera shot away from some seriously hot sex in order to show some ugly dude making "ooh, aah, yeah" faces)

I don't get it. Straight porn is (obviously) marketed toward straight men. Yet, for some reason, the point in the scene where the man blows his load has earned the title of the "Money" shot, while the woman getting off usually ends up on the cutting room floor.

OK, then there are the (to use the term loosely) blow jobs. Occasionally there's a decent one, but usually what they try to pass off as a "blow job" is just a "hand job" with the tip of the dick held somewhere in the general vicinity of the girl's mouth.

And then, as long as we're talking "money shots", let's go ahead and bring up this point. I don't buy porn in order to watch a guy jerk off. If, for some reason, it really is necessary to have an external cum shot, would it be too much to ask to have the chick do it?

I've been spending a shitload of money on porn lately, is it too much to ask to get at least one scene out of ten where the people at least PRETEND to have real sex?

Where to begin? It's all been said before. You know what you want in porn. That may not be what I want in porn. How meaningful are labels like "straight" for porn? It gives you an idea of some things you might find, and certainly some things you won't find in porn. As food for thought, if straight porn is (obviously) marketed toward straight men, what porn is marketed toward straight women?

Most porn has evolved into a formulaic structure of what is portrayed. The very nature of a formulaic approach goes against "real sex." For real sex you need people that are connected, not just going through the motions for a paycheck. In a recent movie I could tell that most of the guys were really into the sex. With the women I wasn't sure how much was real and how much was for show. There weren't any female orgasms either. However, in the behind the scenes, the women from one of the scenes said that they had a lot of fun. The fact that they had a lot of fun doesn't mean it was the toe-curling screaming orgasm variety of fun that I like to see.

You may not like to see some guy's face when he cums. The next person may want to see a full body shot that includes facial expression, not just a close-up of a spurting dick. Why are certain sex acts portrayed in a particular way time and time again? It's just the old status quo.

It's not too much to expect to get your moneys worth. You may have to do a lot of searching to find studios/directors/performers that are portraying what you would like to see. Personally, I haven't found much that is close to what I what to see, shot the way I want to see it. If I could find one scene out of ten that were the real deal I would be so lucky.

Try "Jack and Marie"(A Hardcore Love Story), for real people having real sex, and you can switch the angles during the sex scene, and Marie , if I remember correctly strokes Jack off after he pulls out of her at the end. It's a short film, only one scene, but it's a nice disc to watch for real people having real sex.
