Hi. I am curious about this industry and the people in it. I would love to know more about some of the women who get into this line of work and why. Does anyone know of a website that lists (public) info on actresses, how they got into the business, where they come from, etc? Thanks!
The quality, breadth and accuracy of the information found there is very variable (to say the least!) but they often have links to interviews and other biographical sources so it is still a good point of departure.
Excalibur tends to give the airbrushed biography while on Wikipedia you more often get the gossipy, warts-and-all story. Take your choice. Just remember to take everything you read about any porner, on either of those sites or anywhere else, with several handfuls of salt.
Alot of Dr. Hardcore's stuff seems to be whatever he read on a site or two, in addition to own personal opinions (not fact) about the girls.I second Steph's arrow-like gesture to the Pornstar Podcast. Resident journalist Skronker does a hell of a job interviewing the girls & finding out what makes them tick, so to speak.
