Just a little amusing factoid. I watched the documentary "Aroused" from 2013 a while back, and Francesca Le told the interviewer about her first time. She was 13 years old when she had sex for the first time with her boyfriend, but she says it hurt too much, after which he said "ok, turn over", and appearantly it worked better to take it up the ass. And during the next 1½ years (a year and a half), they only had analsex. And she didn't lose her vaginal virginity until she was almost 15. I have actually never heard of anything like this before, that a girl lost her anal virginity before losing her vaginal virginity. Not even amongst pornstars.
I've always heard stories about the girls of certain religious faiths having only anal sex and oral sex so they can save their vagina virginity for the man they marry and not feel guilty about betraying their religious beliefs. Years ago Howard Stern he had on a mom who encouraged her daughter to only have anal sex with the boys she dated and save vaginal sex for the guy she would marry.
Dan Savage calls this "Saddlebacking" after a particular conservative church. I went to Catholic school, and knew girls who were devotees of the "anything but that" school of technical "virginity" preservation.

^Yes. In Catholic teaching fornication is always wrong. At the same time, anal sex would be considered doubly immoral since it removes the possibility of procreation for which sex exists in the first place.
True or false – Annie Cruz in Unnatural sex 16 tells a story about a stepfather raping her ass when she was quite young, I think nine, because her pussy couldn't take. if you think that this sounds unbelievable let me tell you that I have a friend that she made DP at 15. Yes, you read well DP. She wasn't raped. She actually asked it herself. ^I'll admit that I also first had anal sex while I was in high school. Unbeknownst to my dad, I visited his porn collection (all VHS back then) more often than he did. Never was crazy enough back then to try a DP though, but from what I gather such a thing is no longer an uncommon occurrence. When I told my boyfriend in the 90s that I wanted to try anal sex he thought I was crazy and we broke up, so I found another guy. I doubt that with all of the crazy sex occurring among young people today many teenage boys would have the same reaction as my boyfriend did back in the nineties.
This just in! Horny kids do dumb shit. Sure, if you're actually paying attention, anal sex is worse...but "don't have sex before marriage" gets stressed a lot more than the various rules about sex within marriage. Taking it up to the butt to preserve your virginity? It's based on justification (namely, that only intercourse counts as sex), not a careful study of theology.

^ No miss they definitely wont have the same reaction. That's a guarantee... I would say that your ex bf was more puritan than he should be, but things are not that simple... You see, I have been somehow in his skin. Of course, was a total different situation but still has many similarities. 10 years ago I had a gf. When I met her she was quite innocent. She came from a strict family and everything relating to porn was "dirty" for her. Naturally, I was her mentor in sex. Somehow, she discovered my well hidden porn collection. I don't think it's "dumb" as much as sad. I understand parents not wanting teens to have sex but at some point people just need to accept that it's going to happen. The whole "save your vaginity for marriage" is silly and impractable and that's why teens ignore it or try to find ways around it. It's sad tha a girl would turn to most likely painful anal sex and risky anal sex than vaginal sex out of guilt or because they want to be true to their religion. I think society in general tries too hard in just trying to tell teens not to have sex and how wrong it is even though it clearly doesn't work. There are times I when I think about cheating spouses... I wonder if there are any women or men who have have affairs that only involve anal sex because they feel having vaginal sex with someone else would be considered "real" sex and think that would be cheating. I know in some people's mind blowjobs aren't considered real sex and aren't seen as that big a deal. If the person truly believes vaginal sex is the only real sex they could have an anal affair and tell their spouse "I'm not having sex with anyone but you..." and feel sincere. That would be a great plot for a porn movie.
Because that's what they want to think and it serves their interest.
