Hi there! It's my first post here :)
Im a huge fan of watching interview with pornstars (either before a scene, or completely standalone) and hearing about the dirty stuff they've got up in their personal lives, either before or during their porn career.

Not a formal interview per se but in her first gangbang movies before she enters the room with the guys Cricket is on the toilet telling someone off camera she'd been with 5 or 6 guys at once in her personal life but not on film. She just mentions it casually and it's not a big deal or a discussion about it. I've heard other girls mentioning they've had gangbangs in their personal lives but I'm drawing a blank on them. The Cricket one stands out in my mind because I was a fan of hers.

^Yes but all the women on those sites are amateurs and I can't remember a single one of them mentioning anything as kinky or wild as a gang bang. In fact they seem to g out of their way to make all the girls appear to be fairly girls next door.
All of the Kink sites include a pre-scene interview as well as a post scene interview but I tend to skip over them so can't confirm the content. In fact I tend to avoid any and all porn performer interviews because there is no way to know if what we are hearing is a made up story or the truth.

I was going to mention a whole bunch of gangbang movies where the woman says such things have been organised in their private lives, but then (as per above) I think you need to take such claims as part of the performance process.
As an aside, can I ask why in these porn forums there is this obsession with knowing if the women actually really enjoy a particular act? I mean, musicians always say in interviews that they love performing, and they come out onstage with big smiles, and tell the audience how amazing they are. But I've never heard of three hour analysis of whether they were just saying that, or if they really meant it.

It's not that much of a stretch to believe that there are porn girls who've done gangbangs in their personal/non-porn lives. There are girls in the biz who are swingers and escorts or just freaky, so for some I wouldn't be surprised at all if they've done gangbangs off camera.
