Some porn stars escort. Some don't. A lot of escort services will pull a Bait-And-Switch on customers who think they're getting, eg. Katja Kassin for $1,700 a fuck, as advertised, but instead are only getting a girl who (kinda, sorta) looks like Katja. Guys who spend that kind of money to fuck a porn star come in two catagories: There's the naieve/ignorant/wet-behind-the-ears type who don't realize that you can get a better looking, friendlier, more enjoyable, more "into it" girl from a local agency (in most cities) for about half that price. Then there's the "Trophy Hunters," who, like the "Great White Hunters" of old, will spare no expense in order to claim "bragging rights." Personally, I can think of a lot better things to do with 1,700 bucks, but, hey, to each his own.
Right. You must be totally crazy and not caring about your money for e.g. spending $3000 for 1 hour with Krystal Steal (who really wants that?) or even worse a lookalike. For that kind of money you can have a whole week with very beautiful European topmodel with all you wish for ;-)
I've seen site advertising porn stars as escorts on average $1500 for an hour. What I would like to know, how do this fee break down compared to what a porn star gets paid for doing one scene where they maybe on the set for more than an hour? Personally I think she can make 3 to 4 times more money escorting than doing porn. Can someone verify this?

It depends. A lot of times, those rates are, er, "negotiable." Suggested. Often they're set that high to make themselves appear more desirable:"Well, if she costs that much, she must be worth every penny." People buy expensive cars, boats, houses, planes for the same reason. But like everything else, there's wiggle room.
Since the ads for Escorts don't state you'll have sex with the Escort, they get around the prostitution laws. Though if the girl shows up, states her price for a sex act, and the "John" turns out to be a cop, she gets busted. The agency can claim they didn't pimp her, just sent her out on a "modeling" or "escort" job, and could be found not guilty of assisting in the girl's prostitution.
But, IMO, to really call "Escorting" prostitution, there will have to be some "case law" that reasons that the Escorting is a sham way of getting around the prostitution laws. Likewise, at some point a smart District Attorney will figure out a way to convince a Judge that a video "performer"getting paid to have sex with a third party is really engaged in prostitution.
i didnt mean it as a queation of laws. my question was if the girls there get hired e.g. for visting the restaurant with their clients or for other things..
There are, indeed, professional escort services who are 100% legit and do not (intentionally at least) set up girls for sex services. They specialize in providing highly attractive and educated women for businessmen who travel abroad and need to maintain a certain appearance for social functions. They are not inexpensive in the least, but the women are very attractive, typically speak multiple languages (you can specify which ones) to double as translators, and are well versed in a variety of subjects (again, you can pick which ones). These agencies are much more popular overseas than in the USA, but I know of a few that exist in the Washington DC and New York areas who act as "branch offices" of the HK and Singapore based offices.
I've never used one personally, but many of my colleagues have and I've met more than a few that quite literally can pass as successful, highly educated business women in their own right. They have the training to be professional business escorts and not some high-dollar call girl. There is a huge difference between the two.

Yes, but I think Al3x was referring to agencies that specifically offer pornstars. Those are quite different from the agencies you're talking about, and they are "Full Service" agencies.
i see i have to ask more directly: are the girls hired there for f****g or what? (sorry for this rough and direct question!) i mean, who gives thousends of dollars only for escorting? if you want only a nice conversation then you can hire a beautiful model with university degree and good behaviour for a part of this money.

A bit of research could have told you it was legit.
I also read that Luci Thai is a horrible escort. I read from one guy who met her in Vegas and set up a meeting and she showed up with some other girls and wanted to know which one he wanted. She didn't want to be a part of it. Other poor stories about her, as well.

If a number of people in the public can be convinced to pay more for a service, even if they're duped into doing so, then ipso facto the market they're part of is capable of bearing the higher price.
$3,000 to a millionaire is nothing like it is to you and I. Sure, you can pay to have sex with prostitutes everywhere, but I can imagine how great it would be to fuck a girl I had jacked off to dozens of times. Besides, if you do it in California and you film the event, I think it's legal.
