I've always wondered about this... Since most porn doesn't use condoms, how does this work? Do companies request proof of Birth Control? Though I'm not sure they could even prove it..how do you know if they took the pill that day? There must have been cases where a pornstar got pregnant during a scene. Seems kinda risky for the male actors as well if the girl refused to have an abortion. Do some of these porn guys have like dozens of kids they dont know about?
Why do you suppose the porn companies or the guys would give a damn? For the companies, it doesn't matter (well, unless she's a contract girl I guess - and most girls aren't contract girls). For the guys, how on Earth would a porn girl ever make a convincing argument that it was that particular guy that fathered the child? And she would need to do that to get a court order for a paternity test. Can you imagine some conservative judge saying "yeah well, you fucked about 30 guys on camera in the window of time when you likely got pregnant, and I don't know how many you fucked off camera since I figure you must be promiscuous in your personal life as well since you do porn, so let's just get paternity tests for all of those guys, plus most of the guys who hang out at the bars that you like to frequent"? No way! The judge is infinitely more likely to say "too bad, slut". So what worry would the companies or the guys have? None. So there's no reason for them to "require proof of birth control" or anything as complicated as that.
Porn companies probably wouldn't give a damn, but if it can be proven that the male actor is the father, he could be found to be responsible for paying child support to the mother.You don't necessarily need the father's DNA to find a common link. I believe there are ways to test if people are related even if it's not a parent/child relationship. So if the woman could convince the male porn star's mother (for example) to submit to a simple, non-invasive test, she may be able to find enough evidence to compel a court to force the man to take a DNA test. If paternity could be proven through a court-ordered DNA test, child support would probably be mandated. By the way, this is the way things work in the non-porn world. The other problem is, what kind of child support would the female performer try to exact on the supposed father once identified and who probably will turn out to be penniless and unreliable...
I just call it " A work related injury "!!!!, but seriously, the girl is responsible to protect herself from unwanted pregnancy. Those who do not use birth control, should not have unprotected sex. The only thing you need is just one bad seed. Oren Anarchy

If the dudes a porn star do you really think its that hard to get ahold of some of his DNA?
If a girl gets pregnant on set, the state can force paternity tests on the possible fathers. Otherwise the state will end up paying for the care of that child. So the answer is yes, if she has a list of potential partners that could be the father, a court will order paternity tests. Remember there really is only about a 72-96 hr window in which a woman can get pregnant each month. The list shouldnt be more that long. As for the companies, they should care. A smart enterprising attorney could file a work comp claim and make the argument that the pregnancy should be covered as though it were an injury. Long shot but possible. There have also been "wrongful life" types of civil lawsuits. And yes the father would be responsible for child support. Actual average time served for rape in the US is 5.4 years, and the father is responsible for child support until the child is 18. So even if he didn't pay while in jail, there are still about 13 years (on average) of time not in jail when he'd have to pay up.

It would be unfair to the baby yes but if he doesnt want it and she does why should he have to pay ? Its not like they where in a relationship trying to have a baby they are porn stars getting paid to have sex on camera. Bernard
