My 2 cents: I think it's very interesting that this thread is so popular. IMHO, this thread shows dissatisfaction with a lot of current porn girls and even more that there is a lot of dissatisfaction with how porn scenes are made these days.
As I mentioned in another thread, I find myself returning to scenes of old favorites instead of watching new ones.
I'll add to this list: I'd love to see Mason Moore come back. I loved her.

Well, I don't really have any issues with current/new pornstars. I've sadly been watching porn since around 2002-2004 year range. I can easily bounce between pornstars I was watching back in 2002-2004 to current/present day/new. And some new/current/present day stars have me needing to go rework my All-Time Favorites list to include them. Also, I try not to hang on to nostalgia/the past too much. If you look at my top favorites of all time (well, I'd have to share it/type it up for whoever to see it), the only star to be in my Top 10 from when I started watching porn is Dani Woodward. Sativa Rose probably would've been in the Top 10 as well (maybe my #1 favorite of all time), but she had to go get work done on her boobs and maybe her face. I think I have no issues with current/new stars also is because I just stick to basic/vanilla boy-girl sex. I don't really watch anything else. I'm not into the Fifty Shades Of Grey stuff or whatever else. Not into gangbangs either because too many dicks. Even reverse gangbangs I'm not into because maybe one or two girls I REALLY like, but the focus is on others. So yeah. With liking the basic boy-girl sex stuff, I don't have a huge demand list for what a star needs to do. Not demanding anal, gangbangs, black dick, DP's, and so on. I'm fine with the basic boy-girl sex stuff aka the boring stuff. My only complaint with today's porn is maybe calm down on the family stuff. I'll watch it/don't mind it, but I do like variety. I miss back in the day how it was a once-in-a-while thing or there was specific sites to go to for that. But now every major site/company is doing the family genre and it's pretty much every other scene. The only sites that should really be doing it are Naughty America and Pure Taboo. Every other site should have maybe one or two scenes a year. Not every other scene or 5-6 scenes in a row. But at least if you skip exposition and jump right into the "action," it's not all that different from a different scenario like two friends giving in to their feelings for each other or two strangers banging and so on. But I'd just hate for someone to look at my porn library and see all these family scenes. It might give them the wrong idea about me. But yeah. Overall, I'm fine with the current/new pornstars. Nothing wrong with them. Some of them have me needing to rework my list of all time favorites.

The dissatisfaction stems from a few things: there's far less need or incentive to stay in studio porn when you can make good/great money via OF so many current performers often end up going that route and not needing to reach veteran level in porn to make a living in that, let's not forget the sheer number of creeps and disrespectful fans who help performers want to keep their careers short and sweet, piracy remains a huge drain on the entire industry - there was far more incentive to approach porn scenes differently when the only way an audience could see them was via VHS or DVD. Now it is more of an assembly line approach with a race to the finish line mentality which turns what would be steamy scenes into more abrupt mechanical ones, especially with B/G scenes.
I'm not sure if it's not just nostalgia. In terms of the girls performing, I think some of the current crop are absolutely fantastic. Some of the best looking porn stars I've ever seen are working in the business right now. And new ones are coming along all the time.
You might have a point about how porn is made. Only Fans etc alienate a lot of consumers, which may taint their view of the industry as a whole.

^ I will agree with you that there are some gorgeous new girls these days. My problem, and I repeat MY PROBLEM, is that a lot of the new ones seem to half-ass their scenes and don't get me started on how those scenes are shot. Most, not all, new directors have no idea how to shoot a scene.
I wish Chris Streams could clone himself. He's a director who knows how to shoot a scene and make the girl look amazing; and because of that the girls in his scenes want to go all out for him and make it a memorable scene.
Well we have Angel Dark back. She has upcoming scene. Also Lexi Stone shooted at least 3 scenes recently. And mayby her good friend Capri Cavanni will also join. And these girls are/were retired for a very long time. So anything is possible.
For me it would be Peta Jensen, Malena Morgan, Prinzzess, Diamond Foxxx or Scarlet Red.
It's never gonna happen but I can always dream of many of my favourites who I would love to see make a comeback:
