I know sunny lane's parents supported an managed her career...any others with very similar support? I always wondered if sunny lane's parents appeared in the bts segments of movies, or if any other starletts family or friens sat in on a scene or the making of a movie in any bts segments. Well, of course the Stepdad is okay with it because there's a whole genre of titles along the lines of, "It's okay, it's my stepdad!" so maybe he was looking to get in on the action.
Although I'm willing to believe that some parents accept that their child is doing porn but I can't get my head around the fact that some of them are okay with it and even less that they are willing to help them.
Brit performer Paige Turnah is supported by her parents, there was a home made youtube video with all three discussing this but it seems to have disappeared. Also her mother is the porn performer Strapon Jane.
Sunny Lane was the performer who instantly came to mind. She has said in many interviews that either her mom or dad or both were on the set of most of her earlier scenes, as managers.
I have 100% support from my Mommy (yes, I still call her mommy) and my step father (that is more like my real father) My mommy actually has me get her the magazines and dvds (she doesnt watch them LOL) to sign them for her. My parents are a huge support system for me and if it were not for their love and support and helping with my daughter when I have to go out of town to work I wouldn't be here!
I am glad to see that parents nowadays aren't as stuffy as they used to be. I have heard lots of stories about parents disowning their adult children for getting into porn or prostitution in my lifetime. My parents (even though they are elderly) would likely support my decision if I got into porn but would not appear on Brazzers with me like Sunny's parents evidently did (I know her parents did not fuck there). My parents probably wouldn't watch my porn either, partially because the kind of porn I would be doing isn't their taste.

Noodles, I don't think a person's parents supporting his/her career choice is creepy. Now if Sunny Lane and her mother did a "fuck the hole and the hole she came from" movie (yes, I have heard the joke before) that would be creepy. Certainly any incest would be extremely creepy. Parents watching their daughter's porn scenes is creepy. However, just supporting an adult child's career choice (even if it is porn) is not creepy to me. I do not have children but if I did and my adult daughter wanted to do porn I would make sure she was making an informed decision and if she still wanted to do it I would support her decision. That does not mean I would want my kids doing porn as the industry sits today, however.
^ Should we understand that you find something degrading or belittling about women controlling when and how they use their bodies? Or, is it just the fact that sexual organs are involved that makes it taboo for parents to support their children? I'll grant you that most parents don't want to know the details of their children's sex lives, but porn is a staged performance involving sexual organs, which is as to sex as a candle is to the sun.

I take it that you don't mind watching girls that don't have a family as a result of their decision, though, correct? I'm just trying to understand the principle underlying what your saying...it seems to me that you are implying that non-parentally sanctioned porn is fair game. But, why?
I'm not saying I want girls to be disowned by their families - though, if I'm being honest, I don't really care either way. It's just the idea that Mommy and Daddy have given their 'blessing' that would taint that particular girl's output for me personally. I can't really explain it other than to say that would just be a turn-off for me. As I'm into pretty degrading stuff, though, I can't imagine too much of what I watch would fall into this category. If it does, those girls can have the benefit of the doubt.
Leeanna Heart did a lot of feature dancing in the early 2000's and her mom would travel with her on the road. Not sure what she thought about the porn career, but seemed ok with the other stuff.
This is creepy if that was really Mia's mother. I suspect it was staged, I know if I were directing I would not do a scene with a chick in front of her parents (either one). The mother doesn't even look attractive so the director can't use the excuse that he was showing her how easy it is to do porn to attempt to get her to do a scene as well.
^ It was definitely staged in the sense that her mother must have known she was going to a porn shoot, but it may have really been her mother. FWIW Miasaid in her thread that it was really her mom. And for a family with two siblings in porn it doesn't sound nearly so crazy as for some other families.

The intent is not to make anyone feel stupid here. Knowing how things are staged in porn I put two and two together. Unfortunately from another commenter's remark I came up with five for the answer.
