I love this look. there's a model where I live that has this look and she's pretty average looking but the side of her head shaved looks really good on her.

Appeal in anything involving beauty is entirely subjective. Some people dig stuff and others don't. Simplest explanation.

I dig (nh) short-cut hair, long hair and the occasional frizzy fro (Misty Stone's hairstyle) but I don't get the appeal of a beautiful woman having one or more sides of her head shaved, looking like "Sheeva" from Mortal Kombat.
