I would like to take these pics and post them in the review (and in forum). Could anybody explain how to do this to the computer illiterate? Better yet. How bout sending Blondie over so help me. | charlie Member uk 450 Posts 4/00 | Posted - Sep 20 2001 : 10:16AM The 2 most popular DVD software players are probably WinDVD and PowerDVD. They each have pros and cons but basically do the same thing i.e. view dvd's and capture images. I think there are free demos you can download for each player so you can try them out for a limited time. Once I have captured the image I usually have to make adjustments for brightness, contrast etc using photo software such as Corel Photo House or similar. That's the easy bit done. To link images to your reviews or posts you need to have them stored on a web server. If you ask nicely Steph may be able to sort something out for you. You will be given a username and password to access the webserver and your webspace URL may look something like this https://forum.adultdvdtalk.com/endorphin/ Lets assume you have an image called picture.jpg on your pc or laptop. To "upload" this onto the webserver you need ftp (file transfer protocol) software. You can download free software on the net to do this or if you have Microsoft FrontPage it's built in. When uploaded, the URL for the image will be something like https://forum.adultdvdtalk.com/endorphin/picture.jpg To make the image appear inside a forum post you need to enclose the URL inside the html "image" tag i.e In reviews you will probably have a "link" to your photos and to do this you use the html "anchor" tag. i.e. It's a lot to take in but keep at it.
