We are starting a continual promotion of having a pre-release offered at adameve.com. Currently, we are offering Euphoria DVD from Wicked Pictures. Along with the DVD, the customer gets $5.00 off the regular retail price, an autographed copy, and a free 30-day membership card to Wicked's website, wickedpictures.com. As this type of promotion continues to develop, I would like to know what other incentives people might be looking for. We are in contact with other production companies (ncluding Vivid, Simon Wolf Productions, and Jill Kelly) and are beginning to schedule future titles for pre-release sales. If I want to see slow motion, I use the slow motion mode on my dvd player. Otherwise, leave it alone. I once saw an entire porn movie in slow motion...a running length of 1 hour 23...IN REALITY, in natural motion it was just 35 minutes long. Hmmm, maybe this is the real reason. I just went to your web site to see what kind of prices you have to determine whether a $5 discount would entice me to purchase from you. In looking at the first title on the first four pages of your "What's New" DVD page, I found "100% Jill", "Girl's Only: Jenteal", "Quiver" and "THe Joy of Erotic Massage" prices at $29.95, $29.95, $29.95 and $24.95 respectively. Doing a price search on those titles at ADT, I find that they are available for $14.90, $19.95, $16.90 and $14.90 respectively. If you take the $5.00 pre-order discount into account, the best deal that you would be offering is for us to pay an extra $5.00 in order to receive an autographed copy and a 30 day membership at Wicked's web site. That's not going to do it for me. Forget the other crap. Since pre-orders completely eliminate your inventory costs, give people the best price that they will find for placing that pre-order. Otherwise, they will just wait until it is released and buy is for substancially less than you are selling it for. [Link] |
