I've noticed a lot of people say that you should only use warm water with your enema and toss the solution. Can someone tell me why that is? I usually use the solution and then fill with warm water until everything comes out clean. A lot of times this works fine, but there are times when no matter what I do, I still get residual water and particles, even during the anal sex, which is gross. There are times when I don't eat from like noon and we have sex at bedtime after 10 and I still am not fully cleaned out. I wish I knew what I was doing wrong... :( K [Link] |

Eat well, poop regularly, shower and soapy finger or use an enema if you prefer - folks recommend water over solution because most people don't really need any extra chemicals in their bodies. The most economical way to do enemas is to get a combo douche/enema/hot water bottle system. They cost around $10 at most places. Most stores have them in the douche section, not in the laxative/disposable enema section. I have no idea what to tell you about the residual water/particles, other than to maybe give more time between the enema and having anal sex in order to give the residual water time to work itself out. How much time are you allowing between the two activities? Personally, I only like to have anal when my body's naturally empty, rather than trying to fool around with perfectly timed enemas and meal-skipping. Since that means late morning to late afternoon, I have few opportunities. I don't mind because that time frame is truly the only time anal sex feels great for me and is worth the effort, anyway. I tried something I read here which was to start about 3 hours before and flush every 20-30 minutes leading up to intercourse. It seemed to work pretty good.
