| Yankey Doodel Member 283 Posts 11/05 |  Posted - Nov 10 2006 : 7:04AMI was watching Alpha Blue's Pretty Peaches disc the other day, and it seemed like maybe part of the movie wasn't in the right order. There's alot of little jumpy parts from damage in the print, which is no big deal since nothing can probably be done about that, but I was watching it and part of the way through I was confused about was going on all of a sudden, and then a little later it seemed like it went back to what was happening before, and then they were doing things it looked like they would've been doing right before that other part. I'd never seen the movie before this though, so I can't be completely sure that it wasn't always like that, but I thought it seemed like it wouldn't have been. Has anyone else felt this way while watching this?  [Link] |

| js81 Member 87 Posts 6/06 | Posted - Nov 21 2006 : 12:45AM I'm not sure if you'll see this since the topic is kind of old, but I too own Alpha Blue's "Pretty Peaches" (from a VHS I bought some years back), and I noticed this issue myself. So, I can verify that this specific "problem" is not DVD related in any way. My guess is that they got their hands an old theatrical print (as they do with most of their flicks) and whoever re-assembled it didn't put it in the correct order. [Link] |
