The pricing for porn on some level does make sense to me, but there is one part of it I dont get ...
-I understand casual users can just get free stuff and would never pay.....
-I understand people who are willing to pay for it, like most of us, cause we want a certain thing .....
Even when paying, you can get great deals .... For example, I bought one year of new sensations for like 60 bucks, assuming just two scenes a week, thats like 50 cents a video for high end stuff. Of course I dont care about most of those videos.
Other sites where things weren't that cheap, sometimes I join for a month for like 15-20 bucks, just download what I want and quit. Then join up again. A typical site like that for me may be ECG, where most videos i am not interested in, but some are fantastic and i watch repeatedly.
I know there are sites that are pay per scene, or pay for a DVD, but there per scene price or DVD price is so high, and dont seem to have recent content.
I would think for there would be a market for a main stream site, or certainly ones with multiple brands (vixen/blacked/tushy) where all the content was purchasable per scene, at like say 5 bucks per scene. IF all sites had this, I would never join up for an individual scene again. I would simply watch the trailers, and pay 5 bucks per scene across all sites. This is often because I get into a certain actress, and want to see all her stuff, but arent going to pay for all different sites she should be on.
I think I would end up paying more for this business model per month, but would get exactly what I wanted.
