For myself - I wondered before I followed your link yesterday, and really had my doubts after I'd seen that it was commercial software. I almost replied too, but decided to just ignore it. That would include passwords of encryption software. That would take somebody with advanced computer knowledge, most likely your roommates wouldn't know how. But, that's up to you. [Link] |

Being the paranoid type it took me all of 30 minutes from knowing nothing about security in NT4 to learning how to crack the SAM file on the domain controller. (Later that night I learned that there was a group of employees using company computers to develop sites for their former employer. 5 of them were fired the next morning. One of them had an 8-month pregnant wife to go home to. No severeance checks either.) [Link] |
