I've been looking for this movie on VHS for the longest time, but I haven't been able to find it, as it's from the late 1990s. I'm encouraged that Private has begun to release this series on DVD. They're already up to volume 12, and at this rate, volume 15 should be coming out around the end of the year. I'm really interested in Dailany's scene. Sorry, I have some more bad news for both of you: The Private Casting X dvds are not dvd-releases of the vhs but new compilations made of different old vhs-Castings. So Casting X #1 dvd has, if memory serves right, 1-2 scenes from vhs castings 7 to 12 or so. And those are not the hottest ones, if you ask me.
On Druber's message, I think there must be some confusion here. As far as I can see, the DVD releases are the same as the VHS, except for new cover designs. Maybe Druber has seen a separate compilation volume. I believe there is at least one Castings compilation.
Another complication is that some of the European releases don't show the series number in the title on the cover. E.g. this is a problem with the Dutch VHS releases. I have seen a lot of these in London, and at first I didn't realise that there were several different volumes. However, the boxes do have the series number in the reference number on the spine of the box, e.g. PCW-30-NL is the Dutch release of Private Castings #30.
