I just rented the Monique Covet and my player will not recognize the disk. The player is an MS Xbox. I bought it so I could get away from my crappy Toshiba (had nice long thread going on my problems with it). If anyone has any ideas on how I might get this thing to play I would appreciate it. I know that it is not the disk because I can play it on my computer. I just hate watching movies on computer screens. Thank you for your help. PS. I am very curious as to the difference in this disk as opposed to other Private DVDs. I also rented a Gaia series flic and it plays fine. [Link] |

Plus they are selling "lesser" known brands for under $100. At least I have a player that is software upgradeable and hopefully will be fixed when something else fails to work. [Link] |

Many players out there show some kind of incompatibility with some titles from time to time. This is usually due to the firmware version of the player, getting in trouble with some usually-hard-to-find feature of the title. As you can understand it is impossible to check titles in every possible player (present and past models) and this is something we can't do much about, except trying to check our test discs in as many "different" (meaning with really different hardware components, not just the external brand). Well, I just wanted to tell you that we try to improve the titles, but it is impossible to ensure total present (and future) compatibility. BTW I wanted to repeat that all our DVDs are Region Free.
