But there's an interesting stock clearance of vids at the Private Shop, 14.95 $ each for a *selected* number of Private Films. I ran to the page to buy Golden Triangle, but I found out that Gigolo is the only Woodman's title for sale (it's mostly a Frank Thring stock clearance, I'd say). Anyway, Golden Triangle 1 & 2 (probably Woodman's masterpiece) are nowhere to be found on the Shop, in any format. That means that my mid-'90's dupes are all that's left of this fine piece of porn. -------------------------------------------

Even "The Tower" doesn't have a proper dvd edition. And that's really a pity. There are many compilations that include the Triple X and Video Mag clips and each time I show them to friends, they always freak out about the lousy video quality. Are they really that bad? Dvd's should also serve as archives for old material. Releasing dozens of compilations, cut and still not so sharp visually, is really better than offering a complete catalog? The worst part is, like you said, that this treasure will become unavailable. To many of us, Triple X and the Mag have always meant more than all the big-budget productions. They had a simple formula (like they Private mags had a clean layout) and it was a simple pleasure waiting for the next Woodman girl or for the new Private Report. [Link] |
