No, beware.
"Tropical" is made to look like a Jodie vehicle, but the girl appears only in a brief scene, unrelated to the plot of the movie, and then she's gone.

I saw the VHS of Sunrise, the second Private Tropical release, made with the same cast at the same time (by the same director, Maz Bellochio, aka "Allesandro del Mar"). Absolute garbage, and a colossal waste of the talent of these mostly-Czech actresses. Bad acting, in a bad plot that used far too much of the screen time in a short movie. It screamed "made for satelite TV." It is actually pretty good if you enjoy Playboy Channel type movies, but for hot sex or compelling acting, look elsewhere. Sunrise made even Pierre Woodman's lamer features, such as House of Love, look like masterpieces, and I expect that Sex Survivors isn't much better.[Link] |

I haven't been impressed by any of the vehicles Private has put Jodie in. I still think Panty Hoes 7 is her best work, but those who are into DP will probably prefer her "2 on 1" DVD.[Link] |

That's very depressing news Hardware. I could understand if Jodie were under contract with Vivid or Wicked that they would put out some lame-ass videos with her. But Private??

Private right now looks more like an european subsidiary of Wicked- Vivid's pictures, more interested in making porn films for the cable market than anything. The sex content in their latest releases not only leave a lot to be desire but the length of the videos is getting shorter and shorter. When Pierre Woodman was making the Black Label series those films used to be 150-160 minutes long, now if you check the length on the latest Black label you will find that is only 95 minutes long. The same goes for the latest Private Reality, which from the usual 95 minutes is now reduced to 75 minutes. Is just ridiculous![Link] |
