On most DVDs only the main feature is coded anamorphically.
Check your settings. That should solve the problem.

| bandwagon Member 58 Posts 4/03 |  Posted - Jul 9 2005 : 4:10PMI have noticed on a lot of Private dvds, particularly the Private Tropical line, that the dvd is shot in anamorphic 16/9, but it is stretching it to fit my 4/3 tv, giving the picture a stretched, distorted look. The preview for the movie on the same disc shows it in the correct 16/9 mode. I have noticed this on multiple private movies in the last 6 months. Anyone else have this same problem? Is there any way to force the movie to play in the correct format? I don't believe it is any incorrect setting on my tv or dvd player since the preview on the same disc plays the way it should but not the movie. Topic Moved by - scipio on Jul 10 2005 [Link] |
