I download the installer, but it's got an aom extension, which windows doesn't recognize. I can't seem to find a regular exe or zip file on the site either.

apparentley I need some sort of download manager, but I don't know where the find it.

This link should get you the DL manager.

The file you want, assuming this is for Windows, is

AdbeRdr707_DLM_en_US .exe

Neech, where are you downloading from. Adobe's site has an exe file available. I just navigated through there and started a download for Win2K.

The Adobe Reader (and Acrobat in general) is sort of a pain in the ass.

Here's a free alternative reader worth checking out!

Thanks champ, I think that worked. The problem I was having was when I tried to read a pfd in firefox, the browser would crash. I uninstalled and realized I was unable to reinstall. I'll have to give it a try. Now to find a pfd on the net.
