| Posted - Feb 21 2002 : 11:13AMDoes anyone else has problems with the Straight to the A 1 dvd from Red Light? I bought the dvd yesterday and it will not read in my dvd player. A few dvd's (e.g., Flesh Hunters) do that but if I pull the plug and replug the dvd, I can usually get my player to play the difficult-to-read dvds. I tried playing it many times but it just will not play at all. I tried it in my lap top and it freezes somewhere in scene 5 and I was wanting to see the last scene with the Bella double anal. I will have to return it. I am not sure if my dvd is defective, the mastering is faulty, or I am looking at dvd and player compatibility problems. Ron [Link] |

Ron - If you have to un-plug & plug back in your player to play dvds then I would suggest on getting a better player. I upgraded to a Sony DVD player and it's the best thing I did. Even the hard to read dvds play fine. [Link] |

I couldn't get Cum Drippers to play in my DVD-Rom drive or even Just Over 18. (Just Over 18 came loose during shipping and got f**ked up. So I couldn't even play it my stand-alone DVD player.) I did get Cum Drippers to play when I tried it in my stand-alone DVD player. Then I also got Black on Black, that plays on my DVD-Rom. I usually play the DVDs I get once on my DVD-Rom, to decide which I'll review first, then I leave them by my computer, until I do review them. Then depending on how I feel about a title, I will either try to sell it, or move it next to my stand-alone DVD player. I don't know what to tell you, I really like their releases and I hope that they fix whatever problem they may be having. ---I'd rather be anywhere but here, but I’m here and not anywhere---

Thanks for the suggestion for a new Sony. I did take a look at a new dvd player, but I will have to wait a few months before getting a new dvd player. DVD audio, SACD, and players that can play burnt dvds will be out soon and I cannot see getting a new dvd player now and have to get another in 6 months time. The Sony that will play sacd is reasonably priced but I want something a bit higher end but not the very high end. I did try playing this dvd on a dvd player and a computer but could not get it to play correctly on both.Ron [Link] |

I had problems with The Just over 18 DVD twice, at the end I didn't get to see it 'cos the guy at the video shop in Manhattan (300 Book) told me to please pick a different title (looks like they were having problems with all the copys of Just over 18), ..but what I really want to say is that if we go by the logic Ronk is using here we all should buy A new Sony DVD player (even the hard to read DVDs play fine) ?!?!? ...I mean shouldn't Red Light make EASY to read DVDs! ...but if you want to go with Ronk's logic anyway he should by a new Computer too. Wally - It's a damn good purchase if you get a new SONY...I did and I have no problems with any dvds, and Straight To The A plays fine through the whole movie. It's worth every penny to get a new SONY dvd player. [Link] |

Actually, the logic (suggestion) of getting a new player was not mine but that of another poster (Steve) to this thread. My player is an old second generation player with DIVX (we are now in forth or fifth generation) and it does has problems tracking some dvds. I was thinking of getting a new player because I wanted the features that are present in the new players including vcd, cdr, cdw, sacd, dvd-a, and progressive scan. Since no player has all these options at present at a reasonable price, I will have to wait a few months to a year when a medium level player will have all the options at about $400. Incidentally, I still have problems playing Stratight to the A after I got it replaced and I also bought it at 300 Book Center, NY. My dvd player read Straight to the A correctly twice but had problems at other times.Ron [Link] |

Yes, the Sophie Roche double anal is a long one (one of the longest). I got the video a while back. Too bad, Sophie has saggy tits and she almost always wears something on top during a shoot. The only other dap I know of Sophie is a 1 sec dap where they tried to dap her in an assman and she was not a happy camper.Pierre Woodman sure knows how to shoot daps and he should direct more titles with pounding daps.
